  1. That cam has been getting blasted non-stop, and based on current motion may continue to be in the eyewall for some time.
  2. Looks like it fell down? East is still going.
  3. No idea how the Periwinkle & Casa Ybel West feed on Sanibel is still up, but the water is halfway up the street signs and still seemingly pounding in.
  4. Feed is back up, and the water has seemingly risen another foot while it was down.
  5. Live feed from Cape Coral lock showing the water surging into the canal system.
  6. Looks like only Casa Ybel East and West are still up, everything else appears to be down.
  7. Posting the link again. https://www.mysanibel.com/live-street-cams?utm_campaign=SanCapChamber&utm_medium=referral&utm_source=SanCapChamber# The surge has risen several feet in the past few minutes at Periwinkle & Casa Ybel West
  8. These feeds are nightmare fuel. The water is rising so fast.
  9. Tough to be sure, but it sure looks like you can see the surge advancing up Tarpon South Rd on the Periwinkle & Tarpon South feed.
  10. Starting to get a bit glitchy with a lot of buffering. The end may be coming soon for the feeds that are still up.
  11. Sanibel getting rocked with high winds on the webcams that are still live.
  12. Storm with a wobble to the east. At the point where these minor wobbles are very significant. Captiva and Sanibel getting perilously close to the eye wall.
  13. Water is regularly washing of the end of the pier. Insane surge already with wave action on top of it. Going to be a long, long day for the W coast of Florida.
  14. Surge is slamming in already. I wonder how long this feed will stay alive.
  15. Cape Coral's canals are both salt with access to the bay and freshwater. Some of this water will get pushed in and have no easy egress after the storm passes. Many many many of these properties are built only 4-6 feet above the canal. Even if the building itself can withstand the surge, the damage to personal property and potential loss of life will be significant.
  16. With the hot towers going up in the SW, I wouldn’t think it would take all that long for them to wrap around and push the EWRC to finish
  17. 48 here. Had to go around in the middle of the night and shut the windows in the kiddo's rooms.
  18. Going to be another rinse and repeat season. Warm snowless November Warm snowless December - "I'm dreaming of a brown Christmas..." Hoosier starts talking futility records in snowless start to January Snowy February Snowy March Snow in April, dear god make it stop Cold start to May
  19. One of the few times I wish I live in far southern IL. 2 paths of totality in such a short time is baller.
  20. Some minor flash flooding in the DeKalb area. 2.16” of rain so far and still pounding.
