    Finished with .25” of ice today, trees and power lines down everywhere. Significantly more impactful than I assumed it would be

    Been holding at 31.7 on my backyard station since 7am. Any drop will not make things any better. Only positive is that it is raining heavier now which has slowed the accretion a bit.

    Heavy freezing rain falling at the moment, stuck just under freezing

    Would be an insane and catastrophic ice storm for the metro. Im planning for some sort of brief frozen precip, but with the WTOD routinely over performing, I’m not sold on extensive ice across LOT

    In St Louis over the weekend, took the kids to the park yesterday and already headed for a balmy mid-60’s today. MSP can have this big winter storm as long as they promise to take all of them in late march and April
