    Looks like a band is starting to really develop over Binghamton. Lucky bastards. Light snow racing west and knocking on Rochester’s door in an hour or two. Hoping the dry air doesn’t eat it

    I still like Syracuse for this one. Rochester is a lot trickier I think. It feels like I’ve been tracking this storm for a year. I’m burnt. Got my second vaccine today and just waiting for the side effects every one has complained about

    Hi Rez HRDPS is gonna be a trip. Any bodies guess. I feel bad for the meteorologists around here. 1” or 18”. Either is legitimately possible. Most are going 3-6. Probably the safest bet. Man do I need a surprise. Really! Lol

    RGEM still brings the goods for local areas. Wayne County especially. I guess it must be picking up on enhancement and best dynamics. Tiny bit drier over Monroe. But similar. speed:

    Looking at radar, I’d estimate Syracuse gets into it around 1 am. NAM hirez said screw you to a lot of us. Hope it’s wrong but ya gotta put it into the equation....

    One thing I want to point out Delta, the 850’s are forecast quite a bit colder than they were forecast yesterday. I share your concerns about how far west the good stuff comes but I gotta say, I think it’s possible.

    UBER cold over WNY tomorrow at the 850. Each run is colder. This could be key.

    Radar out of Exeter, Ontario. You can see the lake enhancement starting. That’s the key for south shore. Especially Roc to SYR.

    HRRR finds that same sweet spot.

    Pretty dry. The storm sits off NYC and just dries up? I don’t buy it. Ive got a really good feeling about this one. It’s juicier than any guidance. HRRR doesn’t have any of this precip.

    It’s never too late for the EURO imho! That’s one of those old wives tales that won’t die. It still ingests way more info than other models right up to go time. I’ve never heard a good explanation as to why we discount global s inside 24-36?

    filling in nicely SE of Syracuse. Don’t remember seeing anything like that on the models. I continue to think we have some more surprises in store
