I’m into it. Gotta watch that phase. Was separated (obviously) for last couple days. Yesterday the eastern trough went sharp and blocking once again came into view. I wouldn’t be surprised at all.
I forget that CIPS is a really helpful tool. This was a weird storm though. Different locations got their snow at very different times. The finger lakes totals were separated by 24 hours from the big down state totals. Blocking!
Wow! This storm and the one in December share a bunch of similarities. These stationary bands are something! Only picked up 5” in Irondequoit- storm total. But it was fun. Seeing reports of bigger totals in SE Monroe- 10” or so.
I wonder if these storm patterns are specific to La Niña?
I love Skaneatles. Dougs. Johnny Angels. The Bakery. In 2007, nearly a third of the places on the east side of the lake were up for sale. Coulda picked one up for 200k. Probably worth a million now?
About 4-5 heavy, wet inches. Most years I’d say so what but this year it felt like a big deal. Came fast and furious. Maybe pick up another 1-2” but not much more.
Man! That radar just keeps reloading north of Rochester. Love it!
Matt! I can’t believe it. Really tough break. All around you. Ugh. I’d be going crazy too.
You will come due
