  1. I think lows are attracted to bodies of water. Ever notice how lp’s bounce along the east coast? How they never track over land? Same with Lake Erie and Ontario. I can’t tell ya how many times I’ve seen lows, that were expected to go over S Central PA, make a bee line for Erie and Buffalo. Hoping the high holds and the little bitty transfer takes place south of us. The other thing I usually forget (and I hate to bring it up right now) is that warm air usually advances further north and faster than expected with these situations. Especially in WNY. It just flies up the escarpment. This ones a little different in that warm air is coming from the SE- so maybe we get lucky. I’m counting on it!
  2. 10” for Skaneatles is my guess Good luck. But then again, you Jack potted not long ago. Gonna be tight for a minute but I wouldn’t be surprised to see you stay all snow.
  3. 6z ‘dynamic ratio snowfall’ not as fun as kuchie but similar idea. Most of us are good. Niagara Falls looks real good.
  4. Locked and loaded. Feeling good about this one. My numbers get a shave but still think someone between Roc and BUF sees 18”. Buf-14 Iag-11 Roc-15 Syr-13 Bing-5 (sorry) Pulaski-14 Geneva-12 Its a quick mover and parameters aren’t great for enhancement. Nor is wind direction. So my numbers might still be optimistic- but I like this storm. Even if it gave me 4 minor strokes yesterday.
  5. Euro shifted its heaviest axis NW by about 80 miles in 12 hours. At least most of us stay on the colder side. Obviously, sleet will be the issue. And dryslot (good call BufWX). Looks like BUF-Roc is the sweet spot. Any further movement NW and it’s out of the good stuff for Rochacha. Hard to see BUF or IAG getting tainted at this point. I gotta sleep.
  6. Jesus. These things are all over the place. I guess shoot for the average.
  7. I was pretty sure the forum was safe on this one. Unbelievable. The LP actually started out (a week ago) waaay off the coast. It must’ve moved 500 miles at this point. Gotta love weather. Ya just never know!
  8. ICON is super weird. This the hour with rain to rochester. Does not compute. Lol
  9. Yeah. I’d head towards Niagara Falls. If it ticks SE at the last minute, Rochester is 1 hour away. But for the time being, it looks like NW is safest bet.
  10. Screw Detroit, this thing wants to make a run at Minneapolis. Lol. Crazy. Thank goodness for a relentless HP just north of us. This is getting ridiculous.
  11. Hahaha. OMG. I honestly didn’t mean it as a joke. Oh shoot. Don’t tell her.
  12. No kidding. 0z is going to be dancing or crying. I gotta be honest, this one has me a little bit nervous. We simply cannot afford another tick NW.
  13. Edibles are guaranteed. Takes the edge off this silly snow madness disease. Although I will always miss the days of slamming a twelve pack and jeb walking the neighborhood during a snow storm. Not sure my neighbors agree. Lol.
  14. GFS still decent for a lot. Sorry King! Look at Detroit. Lol!
  15. Oh yeah. NAM is much better. I had a rain fart. As usual. Lol
