    Lots of energy but nothing grabs. One thing is for certain, GFS is waaaay colder in the coming two weeks than just a couple days ago. Big changes. Now we need a storm!

    Oh boy! Cute pup. On a weather note, I can’t believe it’s over. But IDK. Next two weeks look like May. I’ll stick with my idea that March has a trick or two but it’s looking a little pessimistic right now.

    Memorial Day is pushing it. I’d say until mid May. But it definitely ain’t over at the end of February.

    It is warm though. Winter really could be over but I think (like Vort) that we have at least one big one left.

    Winter MIGHT be over? Say what ya want but this wasnt the look I was expecting just last week. We are trending towards moderately increased heights in the west and a troughiness towards the east. Persistent. If this doesn’t result in a few interesting scenarios- nothing will.

    Top layer was fake snow. And it was 51 today. Rained yesterday. 3 days near or above 40? I’m surprised we only lost 7 or 8”....

    I wasn’t specifically attacking them, I’ve just noticed the actual ice coverage doesn’t always correspond to the modeled coverage. I’m a huge fan of NWS. If that’s who does that page

    I’m with Thinksnow18. Visible satellite is only trustworthy metric. The LES was under forecast due to bad data.

    Storm of the Century was remarkable in that models had it for over a week. IN MARCH! Must’ve been a more stable pattern.

    Not at all unusual for March to be our snowiest month. Also not unusual to have it be weak.

    Happens a lot. Epic warmth is forecasted by models, only to get blocked in the Northeast
