  1. Trust me. It’s 90% rain in Rochester. Anything but deep, solid red is rain or mix.
  2. Coefficient actually showing the R/S line moving north again. The models did well with this but were probably a little too far SE. Gonna be a wet vs white night here in Rochester. Hopefully we get into some backside stuff.
  3. White rain going on 3 hours here in Rochester. VERY stubborn. It just waxes and wanes. Chinese water torture comes to mind. Lol
  4. Hard to watch all this precip go down the drain. Gotta be coming up on 1/4”. Niagara county looks to be in a great position (as the models suggested)
  5. Starting to get a little concerned with how stubborn the temps are…. If we aren’t changing to snow by 10 I think we’ll be headed towards the lower end.
  6. On paper this thing looks good. Good track. Lots of moisture. Question is if it can get cold enough. Not much dynamic cooling with this one.
  7. Yeah. I think it’s going to be a nowcast event. Those already in the 30’s gotta be happy. Monroe county has a pretty good gradient going from 39-44, north to south. 5 can make a big difference
  8. I thought the NAM run looked good but totals were reduced (and moved south). A minor snowfall in coming.
  9. It was completely passive aggressive. It’s my New Years resolution- just puke up all the nasty shit I think. No but seriously, mention a map- post a map.
  10. NWS really not impressed with this. Their high end amounts are pretty much the floor of the models. P+C is especially dreary. And I think they’re on to something. Very marginal set-up and it’s not a dynamic system so it probably lacks much in the way of surprises. Still, it’s always fun to see a couple nice model runs. Throw down expectations tomorrow but I think Roc gets 1-3”. Almost entirely off backside enhancement. I unfortunately don’t see Buf or SYR doing great with this one. Hope I’m wrong.
