For the south shore it looks like we’ll be fighting over scraps. I will say I’ve seen worst set-ups for lake effect on the back side of the ‘storm’. Fluffy few inches aren’t out of the possibility. Models have actually been pretty consistent since yesterday. Showing a middling LP near the big city bench mark. It’s our ‘expectations’ that have been jumping all over the place. It’s going to take a BIG change for this one to be anything. But hey, it’s not on shore yet. It will change. Probably flatter.

I do wonder if sometimes having too much ‘computing power’ just confuses them. Definitely seems it has lost its luster from the days it would nail something a week out. I remember it called the Storm of the Century nearly 7 days out (might of been more). Could be I’m just glamorizing the memory of it.

Got to admit, the GFS has been a lot better than the EURO for a while now. Remember the years the EURO was like some kind off infallible god?

Still a couple hits. Who knows? With La Niña it’s going to be hard to get a nor’easter I would think. Anyone know what’s making this flatter? Is it the placement of the HP over the Atlantic?

Buffalo and 1 mile in each direction (but north) looks to be the only game in town. You guys better eat it up because long range looks pretty iffy again. I should quit my bitching as we got another 1/2” last night off the lake for a total of 4” for the event. Right in line with the 3k amongst others that were lower end.
