2 hour pressure falls seem to be near Baltimore. -
992 over Va Beach. 994 over WVA. Pressure falls up through WPA.

The Pittsburg radar still shows mostly snow. If that’s sleet already we would be in trouble.

Someone always wins and someone always loses. I definitely appreciate the posters from other areas but it’s hard not getting excited/ anxious for this. Sorry about the hyper focus on Rochester. It’s been a long dry spell for us. Hope you guys get surprised!

NAM 3k wants to develop a secondary deformation band. It’s now cast time. Fingers crossed the sleet is short lived. Dynamic cooling for the win? I LOVE THAT it finally snowing! Give my Asperger’s a rest with obsessing over each run.

This has a pretty high bust potential. Anywhere east of Buffalo better be prepared for either scenario. I just have a bad feeling for the Rochester area. Listening to pingers all night will suck. Lol. The back end could save us but it would feel like a let down.

Definitely glad to see 3k getting us. It was the one hold out. I’m just not getting ahead of myself. Cautiously optimistic. Either way it’s a big one for Rochester. Is it 10” or 20”? Not sure but how great is it to have big potential?!?! Dream track for WNY. We don’t get these often at all

That’s funny. My coworkers been driving me crazy with this storm. It’s clear that nobody but weenies care. They be all, “I heard it’s going to hit NYC”. “Wasn’t it supposed to happen last night?” “I think it’s too cold to have a storm”

Why? Just curious. You know a lot. I remember 93 went a bit east at the very end. The 24 hr out GFS had it over Binghamton it went about 40 miles east. Hate to compare the two.

Bernie Rayno did a whole podcast this am. He talked about Syracuse a lot. He still likes them for 12. “I just don’t see the warm intrusion making it that far with the ULL placement”. He mentions Buffalo, Batavia and Rochester as the bullseye with 2 feet. But I wanted to throw some hope towards you guys. I’ll be looking at pressure fall maps soon.
