Agree. The 12z GFS would be great. It shows the LP intensifying (Just enough) as it enters CNY. A little less progressive. A little less open. It would be fun. Perfect location for most of the forum.

I’m glad some of you spoke up about that ridiculous seasonal forecast. I’ve been thinking about it and I think it comes down to snootiness. There are probably only a few people, in the field, who could actually understand everyone of those terms. I probably agree that we’re due a lower snowfall year but it’s based on a gut feeling and nothin else. Last year looked good for Roc but only on paper. It didn’t really feel like an above ave season (or even average). Everything ended up anemic. Hope we can get a surprise or two- something that over performs. Currently enjoying our first snowflakes! Love it!!!

Rochester has had the same. A few of the last November’s have been ridiculously snowy. I’d bet we’ve had 3 white Thanksgivings over the last 5 or 6. And then, by the time to cut a tree, we are in the mud, with windy mild Xmas. Same this year me thinks.

As for the wave rider, hard to see suppression being an issue THIS early. EPS had some real beauties yesterday. It’s a decent set up. Pretty cool, huh? Maui is similar. Rain on one side and sun on the other. You gotta pay attention when deciding where to stay. Especially if doing VRBO or similar. The resorts are all on the ‘good’ side. Glad you enjoyed it. Any bugs? I didn’t see any mosquitoes while I was there.
