  1. Models took a step in the right direction. NAM most aggressive in bring decent scums. A track like this WILL bring surprises. Dynamic cooling potential in play. And I’m usually the pessimist. Like this one. BUF-4, Roc-7, Fulton 2, Bristol Mountain 13, Chautaqua Ridge 12. call me nuts.
  2. Couple degrees would turn this into a meaningful event
  3. I know Wolfie already posted but damn if this doesn’t look like it’s trying to turn into something fun.
  4. The pre XMas storm, Cranky has been advertising for a week, looks more and more interesting. I’ll be in Philly. It could be a coastal but more likely run up the east spine of the Apps (does it get better?) according to Cranky. Something else to obsess over. Is it getting active? Lol
  5. It’s interesting in that it’s either snow or rain. It’s not a sleet or frz type deal. Very much a Spring type storm. The 700 level looks ok. The 850 is on the cusp. Lower levels gonna suck.
  6. If this one comes in... I’m gonna feel great! Lol. It’s a classic set up. Minus the upper level low Freak mentioned (he’s usually right). Anyway, I’ve been on this sucker for several days now while every other met was downplaying. im looking forward to seeing how it rolls out. I wouldn’t be shocked to see the Bristol Hills come in with over a foot. If it does stay a cold rain, as most expect, it’ll be such a freaking waste of the most ideal track for the Genesee Valley and East Buffalo burbs.
  7. What a waste! The freaking H is there too!! This is what happens with crap indices?
  8. The models do great with placement but they still struggle with p-type. You get a storm, driving over 1” qpf, on the cusp, ya better stay alert. Elevation thing probably. But the big players are there.
  9. I’m telling ya. I’ve just had a feeling about this weekend. It’s a sneaky f...
  10. It’s gonna be close. Probably a miss but I’m watching this one!
  11. Jeez. You ain’t kidding. I expect these to improve a bit... hmmm.
  12. I know everyone is focused on the LE right now but GEFS holding a good look for the possible weekend thing.
  13. It’s gonna be a big one. Love to see it trend a couple clicks cooler (obviously).
  14. Type of storm where Bristol mountain could get 12” while lake shorelines receive a slushy 1-2”. It’s a perfect track for BIG snow in ROC. We just need to shave a couple off the 850 and hope the whole thing doesn’t cut west too soon.
  15. I used to email with him back in the day. Great guy. I think he was in charge of the whole crew for a bit in the 00’s.
  16. How the F is this not a snowstorm? It crawls the coast and then jumps into the dacks. Freaking 850’s....This is gonna change.
  17. Yeah, I’ve been liking this for a few days. It’s sneaky. Don’t sleep on this one.
