Euro way north.

At least we’ll get a couple hours before the taint. It was always a terrible track (minus one gfs run). Backside should be good for some interest. February will hopefully give us more traditional winter stuff. We can hope!!

Yeah. I kinda like the Thursday thing. It’s close to good. Need a 50 mile bump south to get the thruway corridor involved. These can be impressive with lake help.

Which do you think is correct? Has the Bermuda high shown any interest in dissipating? You know which camp I’m in. Cuttter all the way. Brief front thump (much more in CNY). Like a broken record. Gets old don’t it?

Guys, just be careful not to get your hopes up on Saturday. It’s great to see BUF so confident but man, I really don’t feel it. How can you buck this trend? It’s the icon, and it’s trending south, but how familiar does this look?

I’m not getting my hopes up on Saturdays storm. I’d put big money on a cut solution as seen in navgem or icon. It looks exactly like all the others we’ve seen.

That’d be the case in every mild winter. You’re gonna need 40 in February and 40 in March. Heavy lift but do able. It’ll be epic if it happens.

Getting Buffalo to average is gonna be next to impossible. Syracuse runs late but is starting at a deficit. Here in Roc we still have a good path (at least on paper). Lol

It truly is remarkable. I forget who it was who posted the graph and suggested we were due a crud winter but I’m thinking they were right. It’s like every 4 years we get a dud. still hopeful for February but I gotta think that’s looking tentative.

I’m not sure another cutter is my idea of fun. Of course you CNY guys have a little better chance of holding on but I can’t remember a good storm where the primary headed north of Detroit. im cranky. I gotta take a break until February. Sorry for the negativity.

Really strong pacific flow gonna jack us up for the next couple weeks. Not allowing any sort of ridge to take shape to pour colder air down the EC. Just little pieces breaking off, traversing across the northern zones and hooking just west of us. Our only hope is that they progressively dive further south and east but no real sign of that. If it ain’t one thing it’s another. Still think February and March will be better. March is often Rochester’s snowiest month. So I’m not throwing the towel yet. But damn I’m close!!!

Doubt that verifies. Rain. Cold never hangs tight in WNY. Why does it feel like our ‘cold’ is slipping away?
