  1. Maybe. To me it looks like the 500 heights aren’t as defined. Allowing it to hitch to the westerly as opposed to digging. It’s not a big deal yet. Nothing much has changed. Each one of these opps is just a single member- they gonna wiggle.
  2. First one west second one East. Oh well, we got time.
  3. Kinda ugly but it’s the ICON and all the ingredients are still there. Idk. NAM suppressed with Thursday, ICON cuts. I’m not freaking out. Yet.
  4. Ha! Now we worry about suppression. Didn’t seem possible yesterday. I thought all the indices predicted warmth? Lol
  5. Lots of great hits on GEFS. Right where we want to be- I think.
  6. A deeper system likely tracks further inland. Weaker stays further SE. My take. Who knows.
  7. Pretty sweet distribution. Lots of those are in the sweet spot!! I’m not gonna sweat the precip shield on a single GFS OP at 18z. As Tim said, a NYC LP is typically good for anyone East of BUF
  8. It’s a good track. Worry about precip shield later.
  9. I’ll take it. Leaves room for adjustment NW. beats taint.
  10. I feel like I’m setting myself up for the biggest disappointment of the winter. It’s too soon to be in the sweet spot
  11. GEFS really went west. Operational looked great. GEM looks good and Ukmet looks great. So all in all we are looking ok. I like that a HP is showing up with a big blob of VERY cold to our NW. This one was always a long shot but it’s looking better and better. Why do you think the GEFS kicked west (they’ve been East for days)?
