  1. Skiing was epic at Whiteface. The POW was insane on Friday. While we skid, 14” fell. It was awesome and then got very difficult. It got pushed into 3 foot moguls. Hard to ski but fun. Saturday everything got groomed and we had a fun pp day. Lake Placid is a postcard town in the snow.
  2. Looks like lots of opportunities in the next 10 days. Anyone of these southern systems could catch at the right time and we’d be off and running. Active AF
  3. Great storm for the north country. Models performed poorly for western zones up until 24 out. Roc didn’t cash in on lake help. My record for forecasting remains terrible. Lol
  4. I doubt that much. How much has Roc seen? About 14” in Lake Placid
  5. Radar showing signs of enhancement already. It’s gonna be fast and furious guys. Enjoy!!
  6. It’s just my gut at this point but I think Roc still gets 8”+. It’s west of there that gets skunked. Syracuse? Lookout! 12-18.
  7. Lake Placid looks to have less mixing issues tomorrow. I’ll take some pics! Goodnight.
  8. Nobody really knows exactly where that band ends up. Because it’s following a baroclinic zone it will slide as opposed to rotate (I think). Anyone from Roc to Albany is game. Roc-SYR will do fine with enhancement at the back end.
  9. Pauly looks to be in the sweet spot this time. Keep us informed and take some pics!
  10. Good sign. Real curious to see where and if the death band shows up tomorrow morning. My bet is Syracuse East to Rome. Roc should get a LOT of help from the lake. BUF obviously agrees.
  11. It’s a beauty. I’m glad the Dacks look a bit cooler. I was getting nervous. That last minute west shift always relaxes.
  12. We aren’t getting anything hvy for 18 hrs... which has been expected
  13. Glad to see the NW trend stop on LP track. Typical stuff. Moves NW until 24-36 and then reverts. Good points OSU on the nature of the wave.
