  1. I’ll bet the EURO is on to something. That’s a more like March pattern. March/ end of Feb isn’t for cutters.
  2. What is overachiever? lol. Yeah, over achiever in Rochester too. Looks like precip cutoff May precede changeover.
  3. GEPS bringing back the SE ridge in early March. It’s been a bummer. Gonna take a while for me to drift away but I won’t miss this winter. I have one more ski trip in early March to your (Wolfie) neck of the woods: Snow Ridge. I hope they can maintain some pack. Staying at Brantingham Lake. They keep snow up there pretty well. The worst part, by far, was the models constantly promising better stuff in the long range only to watch it fall apart. It was exhausting and heart breaking. We haven’t had 70” in Rochester. We MAYBE nickel and dimed our way to mid 50’s. The rest is BS. I give it a D+ (a mega storm in March could get us into C+ range).
  4. March will flip. I think. I hope. I don’t care, like some of you, about longevity. As long as we can get a couple real storms I’ll be happy. No more front end messes or anafront riders- I want a real storm. Greenland blocking....Miller A....retrograde. the whole thing. Lol. What? Too much? I know...but March....come on.
  5. Another 100 miles SE and we’d be in the money. It won’t. But fun to imagine a 5mm snowfall.
  6. It’s crazy. How did Wayne do so well on a Northerly flow? Dang
  7. Monroe county really got skunked. Probably 2” for the entire event (and that’s generous). Snowpack actually diminished over the last few days. Imagine if BUF had pulled the trigger on warnings... Looking ahead I don’t see anything fun for at least a week. March will be great (say it will pa, please, say it will).
  8. And that’s at 10:1. It’ll probably be 30:1. Lol Seriously though, someone gets a few inches of fluff tonight. I could see Roc getting 3-6..I could also see us getting nada
  9. It’s actually snowing pretty good in Rochester now. Less than an inch last night. Just pathetic. I wondered why BUF was so excited about it.... Nothing to look forward to after tonight. The next 2 weeks looks pretty sorry. I expect at least one surprise. Pattern is fairly active.
  10. I don’t know what you guys are complaining about. We got 8” in Rochester.
  11. That was a beauty. Just caught it on this side of the lake
  12. It sure doesn’t look like a 2-4 thing. It looks like a much bigger deal
  13. Not too bad. Love to see a 50 mile bump north. Enhancement gonna help more than this I think.
  14. I keep reminding myself that models do a pretty rough job of predicting the exact location of the heavy axis. Can be 50-75 miles off. At least we aren’t gonna sweat the mix line...
