  1. It’s so funny to see the ICON go nuts. It never paints thaaaat much
  2. We were not talking about today’s storm. We were talking about them not even mentioning the next one in their disco. And BUF had Rochester for 5” on THEIR map. Just for the record- I called for 3”. It was more a conversation about how they only get excited about BUF LES events which can hardly even be up for debate it’s so obvious.
  3. 3k takes LP west of BUF and shifts it east. It literally follows the lakes plain.
  4. King was right on this on. The thump will be fun. Matt, you called it, the good stuff will be over the lake. I’d be excited if I was in Canada. Shit winter.
  5. It always had to be 50 miles further south. The lakes basin always sucks these in
  6. Well... this is fun. Meso’s coming in hot for thruway zone. I should’ve waited to make my prediction. I think fate took my bait.
  7. You would’ve loved Snow Ridge. They had 40” in prior week. On the road headed in, the town had used tree branches with tape as plow markers. Had about 3’ of pack. I’ll bet they have 4’ way up on the hill.
  8. Would be a great storm for Rochester if it was: A. 50 miles south B. Not decaying Still could surprise but I suspect a couple/few inches will do it. 3” Syracuse 4” East 5-6”
  9. HRRR with a deeper, further south solution. Hard to see an LP booking it from due south of Pitt to over central Lake Ontario. I’ll be hoping on this!
  10. Plus, Tim is talking about next weeks event which could be much bigger. Not to mention, BUF is only 1/100 of the geographical area and maybe 1/3 of the population of their coverage. And Rochester HAS been shut down by synoptic several times.
  11. And yet they’ll write 8 paragraphs on a SE LES event followed by “STAY TUNED!” It gets annoying. Lol
  12. Ideal track. For Kroc anyhow. Stays south of Syracuse too. I’d expect to see enhancement with that track. Looks like it picks up on that
  13. Since I’m totally bonkers. And bored. I’ll point out that 12z GEFS increased QPF and ticked south. Could be a nice little hit for Thruway
  14. HRRR already has a bit. In its range, the 17z is about 50 miles south of 12 z. But.... HRRR
