  1. Hoping round 2 gives us a couple more, to my untrained eye, radar over eastern NY starting to look a little ragged.
  2. Looking out at the snow stake - we have 11 inches in New Hartford.
  3. We get more heavy rain on Saturday, I'm going to need to chain the cap on the well head as it has been pouring water out since last weekend. Never had that happen before.
  4. So far nothing remarkable here - there was a few minor gusts when it started but now it is just raining with some thunder.
  5. It is freaking dark here in New Hartford and quite loud just off to the west. We'll see if anything pops out this.
  6. Looking down stream on radar, it looks like the bulk of the heaviest rain is done for Litchfield County - unless I'm missing something. 2.00 inches total here in New Hartford from this morning.
  7. Sorry - I unfortunately don't have a seasonal total that I would trust as I was away for a couple of the smaller events this season.
  8. If we could hold onto this rate of snowing for a while, it could be fun.
  9. Maybe the dry slot has moved on from New Hartford - first snow with any intensity since early this morning.
  10. Hopefully it starts to eradicate this dam dry slot. Been on the edge of it here and just very light snow pretty much all morning.
  11. This dry slot is killing me Smalls. I am right on the western edge of it. Why is it that dry slots always seem to be undefeated?
  12. Eye balling on the snow stake - we have about seven+ inches right now here in New Hartford.
  13. Looks like the dry slot is winning here in New Hartford right now. Hopefully we can get that out of here quickly.
  14. 33 here and all snow. It's on like Donkey Kong!
  15. NW CT and the Berkshires have seemed locked in for a couple days on this. I really hope that holds - ever since I moved back here 5 years ago, everything has been pretty pedestrian. When we built the house, we bought a great cabbed John Deere tractor with a 5 foot blower on the front and haven't really been able to see what is can do.
  16. Just looked at the 12z EPS and it looks like a lot of the lows are racing to get to Ireland for ST. Patty's day. Very different from previous runs. Hopefully just a blip.
  17. 2-3 inches here on the grass. Hard to really measure with it melting out from underneath.
  18. 37/31 here in New Hartford at 1,000 ft with the wind coming from the SW. Hopefully something starts to give otherwise we will be sticking a fork in this one.
