  1. Whats funny, is thats what the 18z euro was doing as well with the tpv. Then the eps came in and were amped as all hell
  2. tpv stronger this run compressing hgts field. Also less northern stream involvement which has been the main culprit for swinging this north
  3. What the heck is with the zr tonight. Wanted to go for a walk in with what I thought was snow on radar and it's steady zr
  4. Eps go the other way. Much stronger ULL northern energy really diving into system. Pumps hgts more so along coast. Neg tilts faster than 12z
  5. My guess would be east. S/w is faster, hgts along east coast are lower and tpv east of Maine slower to move out compresses hgt field
  6. the kuchie maps and the tidbit snow maps off the gfs should be granted automatic weenie status.
  7. 6z eps mean location about the same but more westward lean of the members. A few look like gfs
  8. its so excellent that they don't even have scores on it. Never see the wpc or spc say, yea I'll take the icon over the euro.
  9. I mean I'm sure there are storms that have, but in most cases it's usually west or east due to friction from mtns
  10. note the 48hr trend on gfs. Stronger ULL causing stronger ridging out ahead of system linking up with HP to the north. Helping to push the tpv out faster north of ME
  11. I agree though, this is either east or west of the mtns, not up the spine
  12. that 100 mile band gets 90 percent of the posters on here. I'm sure we will all take
