    Look at your low level jet, it's a straight firehose aloft due to the severe neg tilt. It's pulling all that warm air inland aloft

    except, the warm air is above 850 as well. H7 would be sleet in roch or very close to it with -3. At the very least it would cut down ratios big time with heavy riming

    usually above -3. I'm not saying it's not snow for you. I'm just saying a -5 temp at h7 is very warm compared to normal and would effect ratios

    In the general scheme of things that is warm, considering you're talking over 10k ft in the air. -4 or -5 is very warm for that layer of atmosphere this time of year.

    per that yea, but I would not trust global resolutions, won't pick up small layers abv freezing like mesos. But we are still outside of useful range. So just pound a few beers and wait until sunday 12z
