    I know there are a lot that want snow. But I am glad today is a boring cold sunny day. Flying out of BWI later tonight to Sarasota.

    Wow watching the tornado outbreak in LA, MS, AL, TN on Weather Nation. Large damaging and popping up all over.

    FCPS MD and MCPS now closed.

    All grass surfaces are covered. Street in front of my house has some spotty coverage with sidewalks covered. Looks like FCPS is going to make folks pull out their winter driving skills. No problem for me but there will be some complaining. Edit 2hr late start with a re-evaluation at 7.

    Was coming back to Frederick from Lovettesville just before noon. Where 15 N comes into 340 from the S one lane had been brined already.

    32.2 here in my backyard. Raining, Roads in Frederick Co. are treated and so far no problems.

    Just found out from my friends in Loudoun Co that after a 2 hr delay their schools closed!

    If we get snow on Dec 12th/13th you can all thank my oldest. She turns 16 on the 13th and the day she was born 16 years ago there was snow.

    All I am asking is for Dec. 20th to be clear. We are flying out of BWI on a much needed break to FL to be bums for a week.

    Was supposed to do an AM trail ride yesterday. But we did not want the ponies to spook with the winds. So went this morning. Beautiful morning for a ride. I rode my daughters pony and she was super fresh! She jumped a ditch and let’s just say words were said.

    So the older child has decided to follow in my love of baking. She took on a Black Forest Cake. It was so good. Here is a slice for you all with cherry brandy.

    Happy T-day all! Now I need to roll myself up the stairs to shower, after eating way to much French toast casserole and sausage for breakfast.

    That is awesome! We love breakfast for dinner! As we do not travel on Thanksgiving it is just us 4. We have done non traditional dinners for a while now. Last year was Paella. Doing a Traditional German Senfbraten (Mustard Pork Roast) this year. And yep older child is having her friends over for Friendsgiving after they volunteer at a concert as ushers. Enjoy your holiday also!

    Baking has started in the Jones household. Just made Banana, carrot and raisin muffins because there were 4 over ripe bananas. And to go along with our German themed dinner tomorrow, husband is not a fan of turkey, the oldest child will be making a Black Forest Cake today.

    OH there is butter! That being said we for the last few years done a non traditional Thanksgiving. Husband is not a fan of turkey. Last year we had Paella. This year we are going German. Sausages and potatoes and such. And the oldest child is making a Black Forest Cake.

    Well wheeled my cats out in their catio for a last sunny warm day. The were sprawled out soaking in the afternoon sun. I know they will be wanting to go out tomorrow. But all I will need to do is open the door to the deck and they will tear off!
