  1. So we're killing it on a couple of old superstitions...foggy days and thunder....just need the gobs of snow to follow
  2. Thanks for that...wonder if the term can kicking should have a specific time definition since we are looking at guidance from a distance and if it nails it give or take a week is that really can kicking or a pretty damn good simulation of a pattern change? I suppose some expect a model to nail timing to the exact minute of a day. Appreciate the response
  3. This all seems to be happening exactly as advertised from awhile back...who was the one who put notions of can kicking in people's heads? We all want Christmas time to be wintry but was it ever advertised to be or just the beginning of the transition? That's my memory at least...whoever that pied piper was needs to be ashamed for stoking the flames of winters past fears.
  4. I'm not biting on anything positive in the long range thread until Bristow chimes in with 2m temps and 540 line location on an op run at 384 hours
  5. I miss the old fashioned 2-4" 3-6" snows don't get me wrong i love the big dogs but a couple of 3" storms would go a long way for morale around here I bet.

  12. I think if we try hard enough we can get 5 or 6 more people in the mid/long range thread to tell us how next week won't work.
  13. Fairfax is useless anyway
  14. Its always the Carroll County guys
  15. Another spin the wheel day...where will land today
  16. 21 for the low that's quite a few hard freezes so far happy to see that as it felt like the last few years the nighttime lows struggled some.
