    When did January become this mythical month where it just snows and snows and it's always cold? For as long as I can remember January always had a shitty thaw period in it and but for a handful of snows it was always dribs and drabs. I guess since it's our prime climo period but still....has it really delivered all that much? Maybe it has and I was too busy dealing with worms.

    the best was when some of the buttons would wear out and you could only run straight or ultimately get carpal tunnel in your thumb

    I'm currently making circles with my spirograph.....man we were easily entertained back in the day. To this day I still don't know how you win at operation and my etch a sketch broke and my fingers are still gray from the powder 40 years later....plus the worms people....THE WORMS!!

    That was an interesting set of overnight runs i wonder what surprises are in store for today. Will weather will or won't he, will psu remind us of how narrow a stripe of snow it is? Will jaydeb, jakkel and osfan continue with their detailed analysis? Will Bristow point out that the gfs op shows a 50 degree temp at hour 300? Will Ji.....nevermind.... P.S H20 gets rain no matter what

    Not often the final solution is 6 days out but we definitely need a reversal in the trends pretty quickly

    Well I was happy that some events have started to show up on the models not only today but the last few days. I call that a win but today's 12z was pretty disappointing for the most part. Best part about today so far is that anything that could happen is still 5+ days away so things can change and probably will. I remain hopeful
