  1. Yeah but it's still Burke
  2. I think for watering purposes I actually like this slow and steady pace vs full on deluge. May not be the highest totals but in the end more gets soaked into the soil this way. It has been a steady light rain/drizzle all morning
  3. I'm changing the name of my location from Aldie to Just enough rain to keep me from throwing a tantrumburg. Severe hates it here but I guess I'm not complaining about that
  4. Stuff in upstate NY will be the next big deal here
  5. A few rounds of heavy rain previously but the real stuff about to unload now. Dark out
  6. Stuff dropping just west of Harrisburg should be the show for my area I think
  7. gonna do a perfect 6-10 split for this first round in my area
  8. Disagree he sounds like me from about 10 years ago lol. I went from owning a home and caring about rain to living in an apartment and not giving a shit to owning a home again and all of the sudden the shit is giving again
  9. Pretty interesting radar evolution looked like a west to east then it just decided to say nope south I go....worked out for here just east of Aldie thank goodness lots of close lightning strikes and loud thunder
  10. Nevermind it rained hard thanks
  11. Guess I'm not in the place for these storms all around but not here
  12. Clearly obvious that anything and everything will develop well east of where the models had it....interesting how with the event the other day and these they all missed the big dome over our area
  13. Goodness another day where the models advertised some decent rain potential and another day looking at a big fat zero. I'm starting to take it personally
  14. concrete jungle living at its finest
  15. I just went for a walk and was going to post the same thing....swampy gross out
  16. Yeah fortunately my little bubble has had a fairly consistent mother nature watering, although severe seems to have a real problem coming through here probably some mountain and valley bs that causes that. I honestly was looking forward to a dumping this morning so seeing the radar split and then dry up is a tad disappointing but what can you do other than complain on to the next chance i suppose.
  17. Fascinating that my area may go the whole day and not see a drop of rain...goes to show how unpredictable these summer storms can be. Meh time to go water
  18. crispy, i'm going to fry an egg on the sidewalk
