  1. Two 31's and a 32 if I picked the correct chart. .
  2. I have not had a freeze yet this year and you have been in the 20's so has been that type of fall. HGR's low was 41 and AOO was 40 while MDT was 36/37 so sort of similar to you and I this Am.
  3. MDT did not even get close. 36/37 for the low as of now. I do not believe CXY or HGR have had a freeze either.
  4. Mdt has a hard time getting cold in the fall. But my post was more stat nerd related vs. An opinion on anything.
  5. Yea, these really early times are before sunrise even with the time change.
  6. Classes start at 7:30 and there is breakfast before that....some bus trips take an hour. Pick up before 6, get to school 7-715 for breakfast. They get out at 2:20PM. This is 6-8th grade at Waynesboro but some districts the young kids go early, some they go late....my comment was any kid under 18 standing at a dark bus stop. Dangerous for both possible traffic driving in the dark and predators. Now in theory parents will not let their kids stand alone but that does not always work out.
  7. If MDT does not hit freezing tomorrow, possible it does but would not call it likely, we are going to probably get into the top 15-20, if not higher, of this list. The list shows and is sorted by last day it hit 32 entering the winter season (first column of dates with a first header). That 85-86 season was also the shortest season for freezing first to last difference at only 110 days. Last year MDT waited until Nov 2nd so we are already past that.
  8. We had this discussion a few years ago. I am not pro or plus change but kids standing at a bus stop when it is dark is the worst option for me. That could mean changing school hours instead of doing DST but then businesses have to accommodate parents hours. Some kids get picked up at 5:50 AM here.
  9. Have your flowers survived so far? MDT, CXY join me in growing season moving on whether you count 32 or 28 as the cut off.
  10. Sorry guys. They showed well and are still well within the playoff hunt if they win out.
  11. Yea this am I checked zones for here (54), Hanover and near Harrisburg (57). They may have changed. That was around 6am.
  12. I am still in southern Adams. Rou at 60 on remote check. Forecast right for you was 54
  13. In the 60's at all spots I am travelling through. Wu confirmed. Back to football.
  14. Eb Nooners-instead of a temp, going to use this space to wish the PSU football good luck.
  15. In Hanover right now and already up to 58 so warming nicely over here. Thought you were in a valley but I guess a nicely elevated one.
  16. We are between 800 and 900 feet and think the cool air was a little deeper this far west.
  17. Y'all being 7-8 warmer than me, what is the argument about....LOL. For once this fall, elevation takes the W.
