  1. 52 this AM and about 1/4" total rain. Warmer locales may get to or near 70 today.
  2. We need 2" plus to make any major dent in the current situation including wildfires.
  3. .02 in the bucket. Hoping the next line gives more. Rain stopping right now. This rain is not going to dent the drought but hope it helps with fires.
  4. Small positives in a season of negative. CeeDee should have held out for the season.
  5. Easterlies kicking in. A cold feeling 60 here (Edit, rain just to the south is starting to moisten the layers...down to 58)
  6. Eh, I thought he only wrote off the first half. My bad. Up to 55 here already. Cannot seem to break this elevation = warm streak.
  7. Wed AM still looks likely to finally break the seal for those of us who have not hit freezing yet. MDT, no bets there. If they miss this one they could be headed for top 5 or record category as there are no signs of a sustained cold outbreak at 500H on ensembles or ops. This is BY FAR the longest I have gone into a season without hitting 32. The Gefs is the coldest of the 3 in the LR but not cold for this time of the year...we do finally get rid of 70's and 80's. Zonal across the board. Seattle air over us. MU is probably giddily getting ready to write off Nov after mid-week coming up.
  8. 39 for the low here. Up to 44. Looks like mdt and cxy did 35 or 36. Hgr could only get to 42. Lns, mui and thv appear to have made it to 32 or below. Some crazy variations over to the east. Low to Mid 40's and upper 20's within a few dozen miles
  9. Good call, I just looked and they are on the increase despite no rain over our way until late tomorrow/after dark. Rain progged to be out of here midnight to 2AM Monday.
  10. Dropping fast here too but mesos's insist no freeze tonight. Even the rgem agrees for the most part with 90% of the area staying 33 and above. Looks like CXY and HGR led the way for the NWS stations today at 57/58.
  11. Models have been lessening tomorrow with seemingly each run. 61 in rou.
  12. Came down into frederick dropping about 200 feet and down to 57.
  13. It is 61 down here about 30 min south of my house. It is 57 in rou.
  14. Need the rain but going to miss these super nice days.....already 61 just north of Frederick. A beaut
  15. About 1/2 of the local weather stations that are in the network I am involved with have not reached 32 this season yet. Wed AM is a legit chance. Not sure if MDT (Canadian says yes, others not so much) but outside the HIA areas it may be more likely. It is actual cold air provided via a trough and not radiational based as some of the other cold snaps have been. So, elevation finally has a shot.
  16. Drove down the mountain into Rou'Ville and it was 34 with some frost on the roofs.
  17. I am glad you opened up about this...your parents may have told you one thing, but if you believe hard enough you will see magic can happen. Tom Hanks never misleads us.
  18. Looks like they have been watering their grass too! Cool stop, thanks for the pic.
  19. 62 nooners. Winds gusting into the 30's. Feels colder than it probably should this time of the year when the temp is 8 degrees above normal. Some LSV NWS stations in the upper 60's for more double digit AN highs. Might get some more 70's there today. Meos's were pretty blah on qqf for Sunday.
