  1. 1280AM/97.2 in York/Hanover plays in every few hours right now.
  2. I figured except if anyone listens to Christmas music, they get an earful of it even today. .
  3. I played soccer in rain and snow. Would not want to do it now. But again my point was that it cost one team 3 players for the entirety of the year. An unfortunate side effect of playing in snow.
  4. No issues with that but playing on a snow covered field is tough for me to accept. Rain is rain but snow and people not being able to do basic things like stop is a bit much. Understand both sides.
  5. I had thought they mostly minimized that issue vs. the Astroturf/Astrodome days. Do not see many issues in Dallas (except the home teams skill level.)
  6. I am not of that opinion but no issues. I think it should be indoor and all about the skill and coaching/strategy. The Niners lost 3 players for the rest of the season because they played in snow 2 weekends ago.
  7. Hear lots of people talking about the souther boys needing to play in cold so the weather will be important. Best LR thoughts right now are not so cold but not a torch either. If it is near or above, I am not sure weather makes a difference if dry.
  8. Well said. I think that the offense PSU showed yesterday, albeit it some bad D-Line play by Oregon IMO, they can beat anyone. They will probably need to score quite a bit to counter Kevin Jennings. Before yesterday, SMU's only loss came in a game Jennings did not play well/start. But would be truly surprised/stunned if PSU loses game 1 at home. Neutral site would have been more worrisome.
  9. Thanks, just don't put me on that team, I am team put out a good forecast.
  10. I think Boise should be favored in that game. I would argue Boise should be #2 right now. Hopefully they do not fall flat on their fact and make that comment look foolish. They play up and down to their competition. I know you do not concur but I would not want to play them with rb going for the NCAA rushing record. All the NWS stations around the LSV got 55-60 today and that is nothing compared to Tue and Wed if the trends continue.
  11. Eb nooners at the ren faire in MT hope. 51 and a little breezy.
  12. Yea, send me donations and insult my ability's to make money. Insulting to me for needing it but I would prefer that.
  13. Fair point, just have issues putting PSU ahead of OSU. OSU's score against Oregon was also closer.
  14. I posted the WU so people would stop doubting my readings. It is super insulting when people do that (you did not, commenting why I post the maps.). At times this winter and fall have not been good to elevation around here. One of my Adams county spotters was in the upper 40's this AM.
  15. Yes, I was thinking 5-15 re: a mesh between the Gem and the others...which has happened several time's this year. EC and Icon are both into the teens for colder areas. It would take some of getting to -15 for MDT to get to 0.
  16. PS- Bama should be gone. Here is how I would do the playoffs. 1-Oregon (defense very questionable though. Two teams in the playoffs have scored more than 30 each on them) 2-Boise (good chance GA gets this spot and Boise is 3 but I think Boise is arguably the best team in the nation as can be argued for several teams) 3-GA 4-AZ State 5-Texas 6-ND (beat 4 ranked teams) 7-OSU 8-PSU (Lost to OSU recently) 9-TN 10-Clemson 11-IN 12-SMU
  17. Probably overdone but the warmth early week and the cold later week are probably smoothed out too much on the zones. Some warmer locales may hit 60 three days this week (counting today) and would not surprise me to see some 70's just south of us. Then quite cold Fri/Sat Am has been advertised for several days now. The good ole negative zero over Chambersburg.
  18. 43 this AM. Elevation takes it on the chops again for the season. Lots of 30's at NWS airports. I thought Oregon got a lot of the calls last night. Good to see a game with few penalties but outcome may have been different if calls were more even.
  19. I am not sure I remember one holding call on either team. Oregon's WR screens are really bad.
