Euro, the hottest of them all, has highs in the mid 30's next week at this time.

The latest HRRR had you getting to the 74-75. The one I am using for verification was 72-73. It had a sharp cutoff for MDT just to your north using the soundings. It was erroneous in doing that. It had me getting to 65. We were never going to get much over 70 out west of the South Mountains. Just curious if we get the rain it keeps say will start in an hour or two.

66 here and falling...HRRR did well over here. Will see how it does with its final MDT call. It's going to be at least a few degrees too cool. (Edit-73 at MDT).

We were at 56 before 7am. Only 61 now though. 70 may be a stretch here with the thick cloud cover. Hrrr has a ton of rain down here this afternoon. 3k not so much.

HRRR is running a few degrees to cool so far this AM but its also quite cloudy. It trended slightly warmer for MDT mid day with temps near 70 now.

Verification time....the 18Z HRRR says MDT gets 65-68 tomorrow. Check in with this in 24 hours. Only measuring the airport temp, not the 'Ville or other home temps. This Am's HRRR had MDT getting to 52 and actual was 54.

80 is 8-15 degrees higher than any numerical prediction right now for tomorrow. Does not mean it will not happen but still.... Monday may be within 5-10 degrees of it.

We ended up getting to 51. Nice out. A bit breezy still.

LOL, thanks paweather. That is like saying the number 5 is not the right answer to the equation 3 + 3 when the other multiple choice possibilities are : 7, 8 and 9. Outside 3-5 days, it's very rare that anything is right. It was just 24 hours ago the CMC was rounding 3rd after hitting another HR with it's apparently superior temp forecasting skills. Just picking the top 3 Globals I have access to, the 12Z Wed Runs of the Euro and GFS had @Itstrainingtime set for a low in the low 20's Friday AM. The CMC had mid teens. It never hurts to have some actual verifications sometimes.

If the LSV is in the upper single digits and teens next weekend, I will have to go out and cover some plants because of what they are going to do this weekend. Mother Nature is punking them.

I am holding on to winter. :-). Got down to 26 but back up to 29 now. A few days of warmth and back into winter with the Euro, GFS and CMC all showing something to track Wed.
