  1. The snow maps bring joy, right? LOL. We need Saturday to produce as LR wise it looks like Team MU/Voyager clamp the hammer down and end our winter threats. For the M/D crew:
  2. Ground truth on this may bring a teary haze to some eyes.
  3. It's not all the impressive on my drive back through. Side roads melted and rain now. There are accums all where old pen mar road ends head up toward pen mar. Go down the hill and nothing almost immediately.
  4. About one half inch on the ground just a half mile up the mountain from me. Blue Ridge has snow on side roads.
  5. Seems its one of those 'West of the mountains is screw zone' days. It is full rain to rain + here. All rain in Gettysburg as well (street cam).
  6. Surely not perfect but a decent depiction of the variability of the reports this AM.
  7. It is probably snowing in Waynesboro just not the 'Ville as of yet. If I went up to Pen Mar it is probably snowing there as well.
  8. Here I am sitting a couple hundred feet higher than you, just to your east, and all rain.
  9. Latest HRRR is pretty much a shutout for the southern 2/3 of the LSV now. Nam's do not look much different down here unfortunately.
  10. Rain and 34 here. Rgem and HRRR get credit for seeing rain to start this. Long Range Hrrr FTW.
  11. If someone gets that much it will be a race to see if some can survive for snow on snow Saturday.
  12. I have seen sn+ turn into front wheel drive (or 4 wheel) weather even if above freezing. If a layer of slush gets on the road, it's game on.
  13. We hit 32 this AM. Not technically below I guess.
  14. I am not giving up either. The HRRR is not the boss. LOL. But I am alos not crying for a WSW immediately.
  15. Nam took the belt of heavy snow, on the M/D line at 12Z, up into N Pa. Quite an extreme jump this late.
  16. It did not on the map I looked at. A lot of 1" totals for low lying areas of Adams, Lancaster and York county....strange blow up of extra just south of Lancaster which may be what you are looking at. Actually had a sizeable area of 1/2" north of Lancaster. It had a strip of 2-3" in Cumberland country and North East from there. But my comment was based on it staying 35 with the large areas of 1" or less. Nothing close to what it was showing 24 hours ago.
  17. For tomorrow, the HRRR continues the push North. Little in the way of snow accums for non elevated areas of the southern half of the LSV. Temp stays 35 and above almost the entire time. Dips to 33-34 up Myra's way. Even Williamsport just briefly touches freezing.
  18. We probably do not have enough combined fingers and toes to count up all the times a wave forming on a passing front has failed for us, but feels good to see the Euro show it.
  19. Always good when you have to clarify which snow event you are speaking about...meaning there are multiple.
  20. Sauss might need to get his plow down and clear out for Canderson.
