  1. The HRRR has been solid all winter....30 hours out, 20 hours out....much less flopping than some other mesos.
  2. That is exciting any month of the cold season.
  3. The cold weekend into next week is quite impressive on all models.
  4. The Long Range HRRR will be out shortly. Between the noise and ill advised 'It's junk" comments, it did pretty well down our way today. It might give a little hint of Saturday with the 0Z run. Tomorrows runs will get into the meat of it.
  5. I thought you had access to all the Euro panels?
  6. What the hell is a dirty eye ball? LOL. Stink eye maybe?
  7. I agree that ice seems suspicious. Rgem's precip panels were hearty but ice killed the snow totals. If we have blowing snow Mid March that is going to be pretty cool but 2" does not cut it...4-6. If my trash can blows over I want it to turn into a drift point that requires the plow boy to make more than one approach at it. :-).
  8. You went for 6-8" to 1-2". Probably some ice in there that is limiting a bit. Rgem has quite a bit of ice.
  9. The GFS has started the north trend already. Ugh 12Z v 18Z. GFS following the Nam's lead? Frustrating but precip outpacing cold is not surprising.
  10. March has softened him to more winter! LOL. We may see WSW's tomorrow if the Euro and GFS persist.
  11. I get so little Mav's talk in PA, I am grabbing every worm I see! Luka complains a lot. LOL. It can get irritating. Not as irritating as watching Carmelo Anthony, celebrating a single basket, point at his head and saunter up the side of the court like he is Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Camacho from Idiocrasy.
  12. Speaking of NY, I hope our former summer adoption member, @TugHillMatt, is enjoying the goods he stole from the LSV. I keep seeing his name pop up as the most recent poster in some other forums. HA. Much N and Central PA really did well today.
  13. All Mavericks fans are something other than poor. How can you be poor with Luka chucking in Mike Breen bang shots?
  14. At least we get to see it (daytime). Temps may not going to be the issue like today. Rapid CAA taking place at that point. (Model depiction, not a forecast). As depicted, the roads would cave, IMO.
  15. Yea, north of the Lower Susq Valley there seem to be a lot of reports of decent amounts. Some here are a bit bummed because the LSV was the in jackpot up until 24-48 hours ago. Many areas getting 4+" were not slated to get as much as the LSV and the tables turned the last 24 hours or so. Some depictions had the 4+ areas (today) getting basically nothing. I certainly understand the quandary for PSU/State College. Always seems to be something that ruins the big one there.
  16. Thanks. What could go wrong with rain turning into a wind driven 6" snowfall? Happens all the time here, right? :-)
  17. For me the one negative is that it would take away getting out and about Saturday with flash freeze like snow starting. Let's see if Paweather can get his EC to keep up the momentum here.
  18. It's possible. CMC drops a quick 3-4" along with what the GFS showed.
  19. The GFS has MDT below or near (34 or less) freezing every morning for the next 9 days except Sat AM. 8 out of 9. Ending Friday, Mar 18th.
  20. I will say, to be fair here, MU/Kyle's Spring fling forecast is not going to be perfect. Not a big deal at all but it was posted to see if it verified. Even if it does not snow Sat, Sunday AM is shaping up to be one of the coldest mornings of the season.
