  1. Now this is extreme. When better to post the CFS than the end of the season. Saw this on the MA. It is a 7 day average for that same coldish period end of the month.
  2. 13 right now. Made it down to 9. Picked up about 1/2" overnight though impossible to be sure how much.
  3. Lots of stats, can not vouch for their validity, that say heart attacks and strokes spike over the next week.
  4. Cruising at 15 here. The meso's level off the drop keeping most above 10. HRRR's take on the clipper tomorrow is very similar to that Ctp map that MAG posted. Some snow makes it into the LSV.
  5. I am going to go ahead and say it...the elephant in the room...tonight is the worst night to be out this winter and it's not even winter.
  6. You are cruisin for a brutal reply from someone. LOL.
  7. Well the GFS and the HRRR are getting a little more vigorous with the "Mag Clipper."
  8. Yea, both the roads and just the real feel. I moved back here in 2018 and this is a top 5 evening as far as brutal weather for the last 4 winters. It is 17 degrees with frequent snow falling and blowing from winds gusting to near 40 and sustained 25-30. Wind Chill is ~ -2 right now.
  9. In defense, it is still March. No snow at all on progs right now so you are safe at the moment :-).
  10. I suspect some people over here will be getting in trouble both with running into drifts and sliding tonight. My driveway has a 6" drive over it in one small area. Crazy. Good husband you are though :-)
  11. The Canadian and Euro both have a decent trough over the area in two weeks.
  12. The chance that some stay below freezing tomorrow, with sun (LSV), seems to be fairly rare as well though the record is 26. A truly MJS level factoid, it only reached 19 for a high on March 17, 1900.
  13. Bit surprising though the roads here are terrible. Do not think many people see another inch of snow though. I guess this is akin to the old fashioned travelers advisory.
  14. In the areas that received 4 or more inches of snow, I would not want to be driving around at all tonight. Dangerous.
  15. @Blizzard of 93, do not really see any sustained warmth on the ensembles. I am sure you can find us some nuggets of good (more snow?) the next few days.

  17. The HRRR keeps the LSV below freezing all day tomorrow. Will take the over on that but a cold shift in the forecast.
  18. Streamers surviving down in MD (east of the mountains).
  19. Side roads are being blown shut over here. Fire police are putting up barricades.
  20. That is painfully and unfortunately ironic after our discussion last week.
