  1. 42 and a thunderstorm here right now Early nooners. yesterday was the only day we topped 50 so far this month.
  2. Yea, not good to use definitive in Jerrah world. Only thing I will ever say definitive about them is that they travel well as far as fans are concerned. Never an issue going anywhere as a Cowboys fan. Even Philly.
  3. Yea, having a sense humility goes a long way to being a winner even when ones team loses. It can go both way as well. I remember when UMBC beat UVA a few years ago (1v16) and I got all these texts from people trying to rub it in. The thing is, I never said UVA was a guaranteed winner so I was not deserving of those texts. So many have a jaded view of sports and if you announce you like a team, all of a sudden you are personally responsible for carrying them to a win. LOL
  4. I agree with Training. The usual result of "we're not" is it happening :-). The Mav's lost to the Wiz by over 30 last week.
  5. Yea, it would be weird seeing him playing for the Caps. Similar to someone like Hextall playing in DC. But I totally agree, goaltending it an issue...that and too many hero passes/rushes over the course of a game. Sammy made more than one 10 bell save last night but then was pedestrian on two of the goals.
  6. That happens tomorrow night. Shows how close things are...TT has most of it as rain.
  7. @paweather, did you see what Pivotals algorithm came up with? Chester County getting in on the goods.
  8. Caps needed that win otherwise the nervousness was going to set in. Though not sure their first round matchup is going to be fun.
  9. Not sure if we are officially in growing season but might see a Freeze warning Monday AM if so. Latest Euro snow map says @anotherman may have to do another trampoline measurement.
  10. Thanks. Model wise it went from a more snowy but shallow trough to the jet stream heading for the far south so no amped system but it truly looks familiar to weekend 2 ago.
  11. So apparently it was more than a joke, Thybulle could be playing golf in the first round as well.
  12. If not windy it should not be too bad. James Harden's chin will surely stay warm.
  13. The Euro had MDT 2PM temps of 52 on Sat and 46 on Sunday. Scattered rain, snow and mixed precip throughout the area both days. Very similar to that very wintery weekend two weekends ago except a little less windy. Accums relegated to western portions of the LSV.
  14. Would not be surprised if some in the LSV see flakes (or graupel) on Saturday...along with the rain showers. Whether capital of Enola or Capital of Harrisburg. LOL
  15. Night time lows near freezing and current GFS highs are mid to upper 40's Sat and Mid 40's on Sunday (LSV). Saturday in particular looks a lot like one of those days where it could rain or snow at anytime (no accums). Temperatures will be significantly below normal for the weekend, but will rebound early next week as upper trough lifts out and a ridge build in. Monday could be a transition day with surface ridge directly over the area, then expect warm springtime temperatures by Tuesday, as the high pushes off the coast and a return southwest flow ensues.
  16. It may be tough to get the mower started this weekend. My old boy does not like anything under 55. Would require startup spray or some gas behind the plug.
  17. The freezing (or close) weather coming this weekend will not promote too much growth either. I bet I do mow before Easter though. When that warm weather comes next week.
  18. The question is, will you have to mow before either holiday? It is possible some of us get 1/2 way through spring with no mows.
  19. Which Easter? PAweather Easter still looks good for flakes in the air. The cold for the other Easter is not looking as impressive.
  20. Wow, we got to 52 over here. You started off way below me.
