  1. Yea, if one does not want to stay up late. Just thought they may move it to Saturday or Monday based on the expectation of it not being a close game.
  2. I was surprised to see it is the Primetime game Sunday.
  3. I told someone else that it would not at all surprise me if they beat the Chiefs. The Chiefs have more dynamic talent, more speed, but they have played some very bad games this year. I would not put any hard earned money on it but it is what the Steelers do when successful. Make the game boring and plodding.
  4. The Canadian got to 96 hours, closed off the vort, and then shut it down and left it up to everyone's imagination.
  5. I think it was actually half full glasses of water...or is it half empty?
  6. They do not have any home games left so they can just stay on the road :-)
  7. I look at it as a sign of trends but I agree with you that its not great for forecasting off. If everything said one thing and the Icon said something else, the Icon is probably wrong 99% of the time. But if the GFS shows one thing and only the Icon agrees, its an interesting convo to suggest other models are seeing a similar progression.
  8. The only thing I saw on the MA board was incorrect analysis that the Icon was north. The Icon was delayed and south vs. 6Z. The last panel on the 6Z had the SLP on the S NC coast while the corresponding panel on the 12Z Icon had it in GA.
  9. Looks like the Icon delayed the Sun Vort a small bit but kept a similar appeared to the snow shield though the heavier stuff seems a bit south on TT. Glass Half Full-Still in the game Glass Half Empty-Not a big deal for PA yet. Glass Half Full-The 6Z Icon did not cover the entire episode of the storm so hard to compare Glass Half Empty-The panels that do compare show the SLP a slight tad south. Glass spilled-Looking on TT so does not have the best 500 maps.
  10. We feed an outside feral cat and my wife picked up the metal bowl this AM and it stuck to her hands "Christmas Story style". Cannot imagine all the weird things that would happen if we get back down in the -5 to -10 area at some point. Seeing Kentucky has had -20's, when looking at the 1918 winter yesterday, was amazing.
  11. Nam is now closing off the Vort diving into the Upper Mid West. Would think that portends to keeping it from diving too far south in the next few frames.
  12. Yea, he played a lot better all game after that terrible first drive. Two early plays that went the Dawg's way helped save them from getting behind early. Bama's missed their TE to end their first drive with a FG and then the Bennett fumble that bounced right back to him.
  13. A possibly generational level Defense stepped up when given a second chance.
  14. You are terrible at reading comprehension. I was doing a Euro PBP. Not only was I saying it was the Euro that was boring, I was replying to someone else who said it was boring and I pointed out that it was going to change in 6 hours anyway.
  15. It gets pretty cold this far up when there is no system spinning warm air over us from the S/W. Wundermap shows several 6-10 temps out here. Some mid single's just west of us.
  16. The Euro run was cold, dry and boring. That was a PBP.
  17. Nut, I did not catch anyone here say this was a boring pattern? Was that an MA take away? All the pattern types here have been chirping about this period for weeks.
  18. I thought @Cashtown_Coop was taking over but the snoozer of runs must be making him lose interest.
  19. Yes, I should gave mentioned that though the waves are flying around so fast, what is a Saturday wave on one model looks like a Tuesday wave on another. I have been trying to minimalize my pic snips but sometimes forget to add the info needed. Thanks for putting me in my place.
  20. Icon opens up HH with hopefully a more interesting run of the MR's. No 500 maps to interpret much as to why it changed from 12Z. The low is much more juiced up prior to this map but it shears/minors out on approach to our area.
  21. Anyone posting that we WILL get a lot of snow or something DEFINTELY is going to happen, probably needs your lesson :-).
