After watching the Jay's inside the park homer and the Phil's Bantam League HR given up, I am laces up my cleats and seeing if the teams can use some defensive help. If MLB is paying , I am able and ready to help put an end to those no HR, HR's.

I have been watching but the models I watch keep you at bay still (except the Canadian.). Might be our big talking point that day. New interest rates not until Wed. If going for a mortgage lock in those rates now!

78 already here. Unless that line of rain is several hours early. I am getting some 90's today. HRRR has the highest temps in Western Franklin County at the base of the mountains...near Mercersburg. 100 watch there.

68 for the low this AM. 71 now. With the forecasted highs on the zones, surprised there are not heat advisories or warnings. GFS has 40's in N Pa 2-3 mornings next week. Wonder if @Blizzard of 93 knows the Heat Meister knocked him out of the top 4?

Sox have been crap ever since those rousing wins against the Yankees are home. Disappointing for sure. 77 here but with no wind and a higher dp if feels worse than this afternoon

Down between 78-82 in most of the southern half of York and Lancaster county. 90 at MDT. Wow. UHI/HIA to the extreme here.

So it is already down to 79 here. LOL. It is not like I am in some other universe than the HIA. I can be at the Capitol Bldg in Harrisburg in one hour.

This weekend's air mass will actually originate from the Desert Southwest and southern Plains, where high temperatures have been in the 100s and 110s for the better part of the last two weeks.

That would make not hitting the 90's (or even hitting it once or twice) quite the feat over here. I have to say it though. Temps in the mid 90's in July an extreme Heatwave? Many here would argue it is not a heatwave at all. Just commenting, not going to go down that hole farther. LOL

I am on mow 13 with two in the last 2 weeks. But now things are dying back again. it is a done deal that I will be under 20 for the Met Summer. Only 5-6 weeks left and not dual mow weeks seem possible.

I was on board with a real heat wave in early August as well but was quite surprised to see the GFS dump a broad but deep trough over us to start off August. Big changes so reserving opinion for a bit now. It went from a zonal/hot flow to not quite quickly.

We have been luckier this year than the last 2-3. But it is D word time again now. If we get no rain this weekend I am stamping an informal and unofficial D0 on us :-)

@Cashtown_Coop, still seems unlikely but its no longer an impossible long shot...that we do not hit 90 one time from this hot stretch. Today is looking questionable now. It is not budging here at 87. And with the potential of clouds or rain Sunday, if we could sneak out tomorrow we are in play. Still doubt it but I thought we would crack 90 on Wed so... just getting this far is pretty crazy.
