  1. Yea, I am not saying anything should or should not be celebrated just dissecting the data. The uber heat is still over 7 days away. A tropical system could alter the course of everything.
  2. Its not been a great look for a week now. It would be one thing if it was highs in the 70's and 80's but it is much warmer than that as a ridge sets up in the nations heartland and pumps warm Southwest air over us for days on end. Easily the hottest temps of the season....Mid 100's and the hottest temps ever in Sept as progged. It could not be much worse and the super heat the first full week of Sept is AFTER a mini heat run this coming week with mid 90's. It may change tomorrow but we need a seismic shift for a major change.
  3. Late Training and Canderson out of the area nooners....79.
  4. 59 this AM. Mostly sunny zones but expect another serving of Mostly Sunny scattered rains for the LSV today.
  5. Appears the 90 streak at MDT is over. After yesterday's 89.6 it could not continue the weak sauce 90 temps today topping out at 87.8/88 per the records I see. (I say that and magically it just jumped 4 degrees in 10 min....LOL. Chinook??? Our MDT records may be the least reliable in the nation.)
  6. Hi of 83 today....sun was not super pleasant but in the shade it was nice. Down to 81 now.
  7. He gets a lot more nooners than you do. Late nooners here....81 in the Ville. 84 at my current locale of the Chambersburg Falklands.
  8. It never really leaves...some back door cooler days but GFS wise, lots of highs in the 90's. MDT will stop counting 90's summer days next week but those counting a yearly total would see a lot more. The high on Sept 9th is 95-100. Long rang model so caution, just talking about it.
  9. GFS has Pillow and Voyager written all over it for the first couple weeks of fall. One good thing for me is my trip to OC, MD the third week of Sept (after the bikers evacuate) may feature some nice water.
  10. 62 this AM. Low 80's super day over this way today. Can MDT avoid 90? Will it be 89.6 or 87.8 for MDT?
  11. Lot of rain entering the LSV from the NW. Progged to dissipate but looks pretty healthy for the norther LSV folks.
  12. They just jumped from 87.8 to 89.6 over a 5 min period. Edit-Apparently the therm at MDT is Celsius and it is stuck going from 87 to 89.
  13. Congrats for getting nooner twice into one sentence and have a great trip. Weather still looks clear tropical wise.
  14. Wow, we should not let Jerome Powell have the podium any more. His nooner broke some day traders hearts.
  15. LOL, I thought you meant real storms. Did not know it was time for more Cheerleader pics, my bad.
  16. That is a sore topic over in the tropical forum. "Peak" is only two weeks away.
