  1. And the back building statement is another good Fall Training comment.
  2. 3K and HRRR and LSV scattered rains through their entire run.
  3. I81 between Carlisle and Chambersburg is about 20% turned.
  4. Good observation. It's like spring training but we call it fall training.
  5. I am in Hanover and the sun was out here for a bit.
  6. There is a low forecast to form just south of the mason-dixon into tonight and tomorrow am. That is where the big rains will be from IMO
  7. Have a nice cell over us with thunder and 1/2" down so far.
  8. Yea, if we got ANOTHER mid to upper single digit rain soon after this then you would think the rivers would be more affected.
  9. I personally do not see major river flooding but if someone gets 3-5" (or more) there would definitely be some flooding on roads and maybe small creeks. With this spread out over 24 hours it should really change everyone out of D1 drought conditions and most out of D0. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Numerous showers and thunderstorms will develop through the day, and continue through the night. Some of these storms will move slowly and produce heavy downpours. Many areas will have multiple showers and thunderstorms today and tonight, leading to the possibility of flash flooding. Locations which received heavy rain on Sunday will be most at risk to have flooding occur.
  10. MDT loses quite a few if they count like you....probably 3-4, :-). I know of two in the last few weeks.
  11. I was just looking at the highs. I personally do not expect fall like temps, 60's and low 40's, until October. Sept is a wind down month IMO
  12. The zone based highs are bn every day from here to Friday.
  13. 87 today. Pretty warm...dry is highlight though.
  14. Despite the impending drencher (appears to be) it is SOOOOO dry out right now. Hard to plant grass when it does not rain.
  15. Good to have you back...been slow on the board since you left.
  16. I am still mowing the lush areas. Ended up 18 mows for the summer. After this rain we are going to be into the 20's. Paweather shut 'er down weeks ago.
  17. Mostly dormant here as well but if it rains and is warm for a couple weeks, it will grow.
  18. Hopefully paweather has not winterized his mower and taken the oil out.
  19. The NAM has 10" right over you. Probably the nam being the nam but seems likely some people get excessive rains next week.
  20. Models range from 1.5 to 10" of rain over the next 3 days. High of 84 today. One prog has the 10 jackpot over Harrisburg. Canderson would either need to make 4 trips to empty his rain gauge or buy 3 extra and setup some pulleys to move the water down as one fills up.
  21. Quite the rainy showing, for tomorrow (N LSV) and Monday to Tuesday (all LSV), on models.
  22. Maybe he wanted to be ready for the 6Z GFS to drop on his iPad? Hardy-Har-Har. :-)
  23. A not so fall like 65 here this AM. Warm breeze in the teens.
