I think, but may be wrong, that when they are 30 to 40 percent frozen it is light out. Nooners at four score in Gettysburg. Partly sunny and 33.

6Z GFS and CMC Operational really lost the Inauguration snow storm. Anything that tries to get started to our south is squashed. Ensembles have a variety of solutions as they always do... and offer more hope.

The Rap model may have been closest to correct. NBM was too way too low (the mesh) showing many models under forecast.

You can call it that but it is essentially a series of vorts forming on the boundary. In essence it does not matter if it cuts west, we need that boundary south of us or is rain even if it heads right for us. The antecedent cold air is gone by that point.

Yea, that was a big turning point. 6-10 point swing. It did seem like PSU was going to recover but he either lost the ball in the pile or never had it despite the TV angles.
