  1. NWS put out a map. According to this, all but the very far west LSV had 1.5" or more in a smoothed out view.
  2. Models delaying the Friday front a bit so could not have two really nice days on tap as to high temps. Low to mid 70's on the GFS. Low 70's on the Meso's.
  3. Like a lot of my other posts, this was said in jest. I am one of the better supporters of the local teams to this thread when it comes to discussion and analysis.
  4. LOL, a bit up the hill at Penmar Park. A former amusement park where its always breezy.
  5. Ian, the storm that would not leave, has stayed an extra day but really dying off now as it starts to dissolve/pull away. Just a little rain left in the Lebanon area.
  6. As far as I am concerned, if Troy Aikman and Touchdown Tony Romo think it is a heat wave, I am going with their thoughts.
  7. We may need Mike Pereira to figure out these Heat Wave rules. LOL
  8. So if it gets to 77 for 3 straight days, no heat wave? LOL. I doubt it gets that warm 3 days next week. Lower 70's 3 days more possible.
  9. 12Z GFS continuing with that "Indian Summer look" (at least for highs, lows are more normal) for next week with ridging over much of the Eastern US. 3 or dare I say 4 potential days in the 70's. Normal next week is 67ish. If it gets to 73 or 74...is that Indian Summer, Heat Wave, or just warm days? The records are in the mid 80's so not extreme by any means. This is just model disco and not a forecast.
  10. So am/was I but if things do not improve in the next few hours I will have to punt today. Grass is as wet as it could possibly be with constant on and off drizzle.
  11. Nice additional 4 letter D word! Congrats on two nooners today.
  12. Real Nooners is 56, dank and wet with occasional drizzle. Hope/expect to see some brightening soon.
  13. Needless to say, you are not really counting down the hours to the next drought map tomorrow? I will check just to see if Blizz is still in a drought per USGS.
  14. No models that I saw have it but if sunny, someone might make a run at it.
  15. So you are throwing shade at MDT for now going with a record tie! :-). We have had about 1/4" of rain since midnight here.
  16. Good idea, get one in before works derails you!
  17. Similar to last week when I had Tropical Storm winds all morning and everyone else was like "what", there nothing here yesterday. 45 and another wet morning (could be the last one for quite some time as the US finally says goodbye to Ian) with light rain falling. 5 degrees warmer than yesterday morning though. Did not see any above 50 readings on MDT's 5 min summaries but their daily summary says 51 was the high. 3/4" of rain.
  18. It's a pickle as last October was "different" than this and lots did not like that either. I with you though. Snow and cold or let it be nice. No mid 40's and rain.
  19. Areas between Williamsport and Harrisburg are getting a drought ending drench. Down this way, watering of the Rou'ville plans has been canceled until the weekend with more rain coming tonight. Soil will be moist until Fri at least.
  20. Yea, we had 0 sun today. If this was winter it would have been a great day but for October it sort of sucked.
  21. Looks like MDT is currently tied with the Min Max record from 1998 at 50. No forgone conclusion it stays tied though as MDT has been on 50 on and off all day so it could go to 50.6 at any time.
  22. Raining and 45 here. Mow 27 pushed to tomorrow.
