@Cashtown_Coop, I noticed this in one of my clients spam bins. It was an ad for a job opening. Looks like you guys are going big time having a Denny's in town! LOL
It was a pretty epic back adjustment/24-48 hour model error for all of the LSV to get saturated. We even had a slight bit of rain over here. Like I mentioned we had those runs from mid and later last week showing similar to what happened but almost everything had backed away from it as the weekend started.
If this had been a cold situation it would have been a Jan 2000 thing. Those GFS and Euro runs (that did relent so not perfect) later last week were closer to being right than their more recent runs.
It was downright mild on our side. 55 by 9am. At pangborn park right now and it is 69. Getting used to it always being warmer over here in the winter. Models did have the cooler temps east today.
My summer elevation advantage has been minimized the last 24 hours....I was 9 degrees warmer than you for the low this AM and it is STILL 62 here. It did not drop below 70 until 5:45ish. The October 25th record high at MDT is definitely in play on the 18Z GFS. Mid to upper 70's.
Yea and I would even guess Wednesday before it cools a bit. High at my place was 71. CXY surprisingly only made 70 or 71. 12Z GFS did not have a 12Z temp below the mid 40's (MDT) until Oct 30th. Just dry unfortunately.
