  1. 31 in the Ville. Low of 29. Lots of upper 30's and low 40's scattered around this AM. Huge temp differences with lots of low to mid 20's as well.
  2. Ben played pretty well IMO. Kd and Irving did not.
  3. Sixers put on their Air Force Ones and stomped the Ben led Nets.
  4. Now some Tobias v. Big Ben action. Hey, I just checked the MA LR thread and folks are seeming quite happy once we get a bit into Dec. Teleconnections are not my thing as there is a lot of guess work but it's a better vibe and look once we get past the next couple weeks. Let's hope the reality of LR models becomes fact to set up a White Dec. It may soon be @Blizzard of 93 time to show some real threats.
  5. Oh, I was not suggesting you should be 60. His/her temp may be getting effected by different factors. They actually made it. But yea zones were 7-10 too low for the warmer spots today. MU's forecast was more spot on.
  6. One of your neighbors is threatening to get 60!
  7. It's Tobias time! Cannot let Big Ben East win in Philly.
  8. 53 here in the Western 'Ville. I think the central LSV is going to beat me today.
  9. Yea, sometimes I get stuck in the models not being wrong. I usually do not apply the 3-5 rule to the HRRR since it is hourly. Maybe the temps level off now and do not go much higher and the model timing was just off.
  10. Weird. A model bust low this AM and now the reverse bust with the highs. Not even the HRRR has hourly plots of 54 and 55.
  11. They are actually at 54 when I last looked. A bit surprised they are so warm as well.
  12. GFS still signaling the second week of December is when the BN temps can get back to us...would be great to have a cold second half of Dec. And @paweather something to at least look at. LOL.
  13. CXY currently at a mild 54 at 1PM. GFS had them at 49.
  14. 12Z GFS has highs in the low to mid 50's (LSV) for most of the next 7 days with 1PM temps being in the upper 40's and low 50's. Slight Above Normal highs and then a spike more AN for a short period. So little cold air on this side of the country right now. Even help from the Atlantic would be limited. Rain wise Sat night and Sun look wet.
  15. Yea, we have one here at the main Waynesboro park and it is a hassle to play. Even if you get lucky and get the court, people will stand there and stare at you hoping to pressure you off. You can also lower the tennis ball net and use the serve lines on a full tennis court.
  16. You should check out the local tennis and pickleball courts. It is cool again, especially pickleball. 20 somethings playing.
  17. LOL, The football game is Thursday. Tennis is a warmup. Only need two to play tennis on a workday.
  18. Already up to 40 here....50's in sight today. Tomorrow is the annual Turkey Bowl tennis match, and I will enjoy the 50's.
  19. The Senate is going to to start allowing hoodies. LOL
  20. Front end "snow" vs. Dump. 2-3" with temps in the 30's. But it is the only game in town for the LSV area over the next 15 days (as progged now.) Outside back and forth model perturbations, there is no real cold air to grasp on over the next couple weeks. Seems a fairly mild period with some bouts of well AN are possible. If not for some help from the Atlantic, we would be really frying. End of the Euro/EPS/GFS (240+)/GEFS (240+) all show some signs of real cold entering the US again, so targeting the second week of Dec for winter to return. My AC unit has NOT been covered yet.
  21. Yep. I will step in and sub :-). Fantasy land though....several systems roll through before this but too warm until the second week of Dec rolls around.
