More recent LR op's and ENS has backed down a bit from the great look. GFS floods us with warm air after the Blizz storm. Still a better pattern coming on LR but a bit more mixed IMO.
I wish I could get gas here. Only option is propane and that is not ideal. I spend about 300-400 Mo for 4 months a year then average about 150 a mo the others. Electric over 200 mid summer but less that 100 spring and fall.
You would have seen the same thing play out in 2019, 2020, and 2021. LOL. Put that second week of Dec into your calendar to check back :-). The @Blizzard of 93 snow should be coming then.
We had been talking about home heating...fyi home heating oil is way down right now (compared to its high point). Can be had for 4.50 a Gal. That is not bargain compared to last year at this time but a good $1/gal less than a month or two ago.
I do not think you can fully blame an inversion over your way last night. That would be a low one. But looks clear on the models and obs tonight. Especially in the high areas to my southwest where there are lots of 50's.
Yep. Picked up 233 near Pine Grove Furnace and just beyond there were piles of snow along the road...on and off for about 10 miles. It was in the low 50's at the time. Took a back way home from Dillsburg.
