  1. 28 and Frz here. Raining too hard for it all to freeze so water running down the street but sidewalks, trees, etc...covered.
  2. Still 33 here. Expect some evap cooling with the precip starts.
  3. Here is the link for 5 min updates https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=Kmdt
  4. MDT has been 30 and below since 7PM. They are at 28 right now. You probably saw reading before 7PM.
  5. Down to 32/24 here. Looks like much of the rest of the LSV is in the low 30's now as well.
  6. Cumberland and Adams take it on the head with the GFS Kuch (and a small piece of N Central MD). This is a true snow map, no sleet in theory.
  7. Nam, Rgem both held similar with their 12Z calls. Rgem changed the orientation of the snow line a bit....moved it south a little bit in true central PA but moved it north away from main LSV as to the Eastern side. GFS has blotches of sig snow well into MD again.
  8. LOL, you have almost no chance of that being taken to heart (highlighted)
  9. It is 37 at MDT and 39 at Capital City AND Indiantown Gap (way north) but only 36 at Thomasville. The Dp at Indiantown is 14 while it is 20 at Capital City. That is a big difference.
  10. Here is the wundermap. Seems western and eastern LSV near 40....central LSV holding mid 30's. MDT 37 and CXY 39.
  11. Some light rain and snow already into Somerset area. 39/24 here at 3PM.
  12. Late phase and a mess of a forecast on this run. NC PA gets a lot of snow. It is 4 degrees at MDT...7PM Friday evening (23rd)
  13. EC has an initially non PV phased and convoluted solution setting up for next week.
  14. I think Paweather talked him down to $25 for the pair.
  15. EC has most of PA showing precip invading in the early AM hours of Thur. the far NE is still dry at this time. Starting as rain and freezing rain for the most part. Very little mix or sleet at the onset. At 7AM much of PA has freezing rain. By mid day, much of that freezing ran has turned into snow in PA except a mix and rain in the LSV and SW Snow just now crawling into the NE corner of the state. Tomorrow evening there is heavy snow from near CTP down to about Perry county. LSV still mix or rain. Mix is now well up into the MSV. Surface temps are at or above freezing for almost all of PA at this point despite the snow. EC has mix and rain to the NY line by Friday AM as the low crossed the DelMarVa. I just have the 10:1 snow map which will be much too high but will show areas where it snowed.
  16. @paweather, fingers crossed the EC has a Christmas White Miracle for us. Your PBP fingers feel lucky?
  17. The good 'Ole LWRJW with short sleeve polo under type of day.
  18. HRRR has you settling in at 38-40 then a low of 29 at midnight before temps start to rise. Above freezing at 9AM tomorrow and punching into the 40's overnight Thursday.
  19. Nooners....Up to 35/27 with more sunshine getting through the milky clouds.
  20. The CMC however. This is after some serious front end dump for the LSV.
  21. 12Z GFS was back to being a little more vigorous with the front passage on the 23rd...squalls, etc. But the orientation of the trough is great for a SLP forming on the front. It will change in 6 hours. :-). But no storm as of now except for New England.
  22. I was typing that and went to reply to yours and did not finish the thought but that was in reference to the 6Z....but yes on the 6Z there is nothing the rest of the year. Everything supressed except one small coastal 12/29.
  23. True just very rectangular in nature for that snow. Like it drew lines. That panel is why Canderson scores on the GFS.
