    The elixir of the average US citizen. LOL. My house is up to 71 with the windows open. THIS sucks...I have the AC covered but may go trainer on it and uncover to cool 'er down. Just saw my Smithsburg neighbor is reporting 67. The Nam only missed by 15-20 degrees today.

    Cap City airport has their eyes on 70's if that low stays on course as depicted. Record High at MDT for that date is 68 in the year 2000.

    Storm forms on a front and is blocked back into the coast....one week out. CMC has a similar scenario to start but no blocking and the low escapes to the east.

    44 here this AM. Actually some 50's at higher elevations. Low was 41 around midnight.

    It is already down to 32 at THV. LOL. Dropped 25 degrees in 2 1/4 hours.

    Hmm, my zone said 47 for today when I checked yesterday. HGR checked in at 55 and I got 2 extra up higher. The GFS from 18Z last night had temps in the mid 40's here at 1PM. The HRRR did a good job seeing the 55-60 temps down this way. THV topped out at 57 or 58 as well.

    Settled on 57 here....CXY made 55 and MDT 51 or 52. All above the zones from this AM I believe.

    I saw a list on the Pitt thread with the longest run of days where it did not get below freezing to start the year. Interesting....The CMC and GFS have it at 6 or 7 days on the current runs.

    Might see a 70 in south PA next week. As strange as that may seem, it is not that abnormal. At MDT, 7 of the 30 January days have record highs in the 70's.

    Speaking of, MDT is sitting at -2.8 right now for Dec. Will probably go backwards some the next few days but seems likely to fall between -2 and -3 which would be paweathers guess. CXY got to 52 today.

    23 for the low here. NYD has gone from near 70 to near 55 on the GFS (over the last few days).
