  1. GFS depiction has really trended toward some initial winter weather. Not counting on much her ebut you might have one of the Winter 22/23 type storms where rain washes away snow/ice.
  2. 32 here this Am with some icy spots on the trash can. etc...may be some black ice.
  3. Blizz must be out as he did not post the Feb 28th snow/mix storm on the Gfs. I assumed the GFS was bad looking at posts but not so. @Itstrainingtimethe 18Z Icon, of all things, starts you off as snow Wed AM. Buckle up!
  4. Small victories in a bigger war until we get to Buckle up, it is go time.
  5. It has clouded over here now and down to 54. How sad it is that it is down to 54 with a cloud over...in Feb.
  6. Anyone have the EuroX run? :-). Add more feet to the Euro (and GFS) digital blue at 7 days out pile. Just 48 hours ago the Euro has a foot just to our south and plowable over us.
  7. The high, a week from now, is running for its life so Euro is indeed punting Feb.
  8. Not over us but it had snow to our north on Pivotal. Very light though.
  9. On the EC, @TugHillMatt seemed to be in line to watch a moderate ice storm, in his home territory, from our snow desert (late this week). He is stat padding!
  10. Same result even if snow showers are within a hundred miles, we lost the spacing that was there a couple days ago. Squish, squash no snowstorm for us.
  11. Following up on Training's temp thought, on the EC it is near 60 at Midnight Friday AM (MJS Midnight high) and not far from freezing rush hour Friday AM. MDT shows 28 Saturday at 1PM. MDT may not crack Freezing Saturday if those panels were right.
  12. I am still holding hope for Feb though not this Saturday anymore....the late week series of low's is hanging around too long. Early next week.
  13. We should (not a forecast, a comment) get some cracks of thunder to go along with those swings.
  14. Yea, it (temp watching) is the only game in town for something to watch except the little ice we may get Wed. Zones sound a lot more wintery than the models for Wed. Just for compare sake, the HRRR has you at 60-62 from noon until 4 so it does plateau again prog wise.
  15. HRRR has a very elevation dependent low 60's day for you. Mid to upper 50's higher up over here.
  16. 12Z GFS. Many areas of North Central US have 36"+ inches over the run.
  17. Canderson's seeds are not liking the last few posts :-)
  18. HH GFS brings back winter precip both Sat (light) and early the following week (ice storm).
  19. It has reached 74 or over dozens of February days with 10 of the 28 having a record of 74 or over. The record for Thur is 75. The all-time record is the 21st at 79.
  20. Made it to 62 here. Took off after lunch. Campus grass and Hibiscus trees cut back. NWS has snow in my zone for Wed.
  21. Man, the timing and placement changes of the low's makes for a terrible suite of 12Z runs today.
  22. It has got up to 50 here as well. Euro Dr No for Saturday, same as Euro...squashed and non developing.
