  1. I think areas north of Harrisburg are going to have a good event. For a winter devoid of real events, this is being ignored a bit.
  2. Another old saying is Nuts and bolts, nuts and bolts....we got screwed. Winter 22/23.
  3. The 18Z GFS has yet another BANG winter storm in early March. One of these has to work out but I am going to go out and say I am punting early Spring as it pertains to the first 7-10 days in March. I think spring flingers (NJ Twins in the MA) are going to have to suffer through some winter in spring.
  4. Not much here either....upper 20's for a gust and low 20's for sustained.
  5. My grandparents walked to school uphill in a thunderstorm then walked home uphill in a snowstorm. That WWA extends pretty far south. Not far from the 'Burg.
  6. Your code is MYR. Did you see the NAM has 1/2" snow for you tomrorow.
  7. The HRRR has been trending colder for several runs in a row but this line hitting the MSV looks pretty sweet especially for this kind of year. The HRRR does does snow and mix in parts of the LSV as well but not to this extent. The NAM has 1/2-2" of snow falling from Harrisburg North and East.
  8. Did you see this? Title says Hurricane but the info is trop storms. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Pennsylvania_hurricanes
  9. That was also a wonderment re: do you pull the batteries into the house when done each time.
  10. The battery is what I am worried about. I see it is $400! That is a big cost every 3-5 years. I had not realized it was so much.
  11. Euro snow for tomorrow AM and Sat Am. Sat high near freezing. Insulated pants get a chance to come back out.
  12. Walk behind mower recommendations? I was considering an Ego but starting to waver on that. I like how light non self-propelled machines are but probably get to get self propelled.
  13. Just for fun March and April snow forecast: MDT-3" MU-4" ROU-5"
  14. Radar looking less than fantastic as the rain has just started here. Drought lives on Oops, my summer auto type kicked in there.
  15. Here is a super geeky report. I read it was a thunderstorm. http://www.appliedweatherassociates.com/uploads/1/3/8/1/13810758/smethport-asdso_paper-final.pdf
  16. I was over that way on Sunday and this dude was backing up traffic....spraying grass seed everywhere!
  17. @Atomixwx is the organizer of the Palmyra portion of the get together.
  18. The high at IPT for Thur is near 70 on the RGEM and under 50 on the GFS. Global's suggesting widespread teens Sat Am. Just like last Sat AM just a bit colder. Into a rut with these temp swings.
  19. HRRR targets the LSV with cells around lunch. TT not letting me see the model soundings for some reason but graphically it looks like a summer day on the HRRR radar panel. Temps 48-52 when the cells go through.
  20. Yea, it never does seem to fully be the same each time. I did not see any black ice I just saw some ice on the lights in the flower bed and the trash can. One un-forecasted thing which happened yesterday was that it got cold and rainy much sooner than forecast. It was raining during tennis at 4:30, not hard enough to cancel, and the temps quickly dropped into the 40's. By 6 it was raining hard enough to wet everything.
