  1. Let's wait and see if MU gets on the train but must of the buckling happens in the Philly thread so might need to check there.
  2. Mahantango#1, Atomix and I were wondering if anyone else would show today.
  3. Convoluted/blocked Low that is a totally different prog than 6Z but fantastical snow totals for some so....MU would lose the snow record! Only 6 days away. LOL.
  4. Nooners and 56. GFS has Fri and Sat in the shitter for what adds up to an underwhelming 1/4-1/2" for Eastern PA.
  5. Early nooners parsing...HRRR and NAM have CXY AND MDT on 70 watch for tomorrow. Followed up by a really crappy Friday. May be some rain and 30's ob's.
  6. Most have been model fantasies. The frozen in NE PA is a real threat in 48-72 hours. High pressure timing will tell how that works out though appears to be a minor event.
  7. Trea Turner may be the best SS in Philly since The Jet.
  8. Potential for some snow and ice in NE PA Saturday AM as a stalled front lingers around PA. The same front presents the risk of yet another midnight high Friday AM as most of the day could be a 40-50 for PA but in the 60's at midnight for MDT. As bad as the temps have been this winter the constant run of midnight highs makes it look worse. Saturday looks good right now...for helping the surface moisture. GFS and CMC both have the potential for some snow 7 days from now (for everyone).
  9. A salty 48 this AM. What an increase from the freezer yesterday.
  10. Cannot say something is cyclical when it is continuously going up over the entire time of records we have (temps). I think you are concentrating on snow and my comment was on winter as a whole including temps. I do not believe MU being under 1' is just one to chalk up "no harm, no foul.". But they could score 40" next winter. We do not suddenly live on the sun but the temps this winter went a long way to causing the miniscule snow total.
  11. Did you see the temp graph I posted? There was nothing cyclical in it. Especially for the world but even PA. I am not saying snow is done but I do believe what happened 100 years ago is not relevant to what may happen in the future.
  12. Stuff it does in Florida (like Miami this season.) There are a lot more snow blowers in Florida than you will see around here.
  13. This is why I have a hard time buying the cyclical thoughts as to it not being worse now.
  14. That is why he talks mowing so much, he sells mowers and is trying to chum up business!
  15. I was at 89' in Florida and it was in the middle of the state. And it STILL snowed!
  16. You get lost in that white out and it's lights out for you. All those lifts make it look like an amusement park.
  17. https://whatismyelevation.com/ There are 3 sites I tried and it varied between 801 and 810 feet here.
  18. Late Nooners....48 and sunny. GFS says April Fool's hearing into April....8PM on Mar 31.
  19. @Itstrainingtime Jebman is asking that your whole vaca be ruined in the MA Banter thread. Wants Mammoth to slide down the mountain with drownings. LOL
  20. Not at all saying it is not good I would just be very angry if I had to shell out the cost of another mower 3 years into it. @Mount Joy Snowman they sell Ego at Lowes, Amazon, Ebay, and many local Mower shops. I think Home Depot is one of the few places you cannot get one. The Local Mower shop is not a bad idea as they will help with small issues.
  21. This is ultimately what led me away from Ego. I was afraid I would be worrying about the battery nonstop. I did not do the initial research and find out how much they were.
  22. The ground here is still frozen like it is winter. No digging yet to put in plants either. This happened over the last few weeks.
  23. I was all set to get an Ego myself but upon investigation I found that you cannot leave the battery in the garage or shed (especially the shed) so thought I would mention that. Now looking at a Honda gas mower instead. So, not personal experience but the battery issue is apparently not widely known. This applies to buying one from any place that stores them in a non-conditioned room as well. Lots of stories of people buying mowers from True Value and being dead within weeks.
