  2. Gem has two much less amped lows next week, both rain for most of PA but the boundary is in place for low 3.
  3. After the winter mix to rain next week, the GFS goes into a suppressively cold regime for several days with highs in the 30's and lows in the teens/low 20's. Nothing blocking the next low that cuts. Not a great run for snow. Plenty cold later next week though.
  4. You should start the Spring thread on March 1 as it may jive more with want you are hoping for...instead of starting the winter thread. ha. Sorry you are depressed about it.
  5. GFS still pushed the boundary/540 line south as the precip arrives on the 5th so we get a non snow winter storm that changes into a LOT of rain heading into the 6th.
  6. 12Z Icon not even close on the 5th/6th. Even Northern PA and most of NY is too warm.
  7. Yes, the GFS has been leaking with the placement as well. It was much better 24-36 hours ago.
  8. I had posted above the 0Z Euro AI looked good too. A bit of a split in suites right now.
  9. On the flip side the GFS AI and Icon are straight up cutters for the 5th/6th.
  10. Yea, still lot of opportunities to track and see what we can come up with. Euro Ai is very wet and seemingly cold enough for a decent snow or ice storm the 5th into the 6th. The next one is rain on the AI.
  11. 30-40 min before hypothermia. One of the time's this cold weather is bad for someone.
  12. Yes thanks, I saw. An airplane crash is a scary proposition and I hope (assuming they died) it was quickly and without agony. Now the agony is for their family and friends :-(. Each time I fly I think about it as one is so very much not in control in those situations. I also wonder if this was an error or not.
  13. 22 this AM. Prayers to all involved in the AA plane crash. The first plane tragedy in our country in quite some time.
  14. Some small but intense squalls in Northern Cumberland County.
  15. That graphic on Pivotal looks a bit like a Simon Says game.
  16. If you combine the GFS and the Euro you have a lot of tracking the next two weeks. LOL.
  17. R-Ville Jack from MA. The higher numbers make people happier.
  18. There is the day 14 MAJOR snow storm on the euro, otherwise it was a bad 12Z considering it and the Gem.
  19. Euro is going to be more GEM like, lagging behind in pressing the boundary down over us for Feb 6th. A sig step back from 0Z. State College went from 13 to 37 for the morning of the 6th.
  20. UK with a tip of the hat to the GEM if one is keeping score.
  21. Nooners...46 with highest gust so far coming in around 40. GFS has a snowstorm possibility in the 330's but...330's.
  22. Gem does not love the HP push as much as the GFS and Icon so it is still a warmer system for next week. No obscene heat like yesterday but AN just the same.
