  1. 12Z GFS, low transfer is slower than the rgem so more frz gets into PA as the column does not do as well as it does on the sleetly rgem. It also starts the precip quite a bit earlier in the LSV. Mix around by 4Pm Sat.
  2. I would prefer it not make 24 hour jumps. LOL.
  3. Entire state of PA has snow of varying intensities on WED (not Tue) as the Icon's depiction is a good 24 hours behind. Easters win this one as the low pulls away Wed evening.
  4. Some fairly major changes with the Tue/Wed low formation on the coast within the 12Z Icon. Still waiting for the playout.
  5. Rgem has a quick spurt of Snow Sat evening before sleet takes over
  6. A trend back toward more front snow as well
  7. They seem to relish being viewed as they are.
  8. Up to 32 here with light frz. MUI, MDT and LNS still hanging on to 32, other sites have switched over to rain with temps 33-35.
  9. I saw that yesterday but now not so much especially over here. Neither have any snow here. Rgem had an inch or so over your way.
  10. Yea, what looked like a train of winter storms is boiling down to Sat night (redo of today) and then Tuesday. Tuesday is our hope for snow. We are in a golden spot right now. What are things like down your way this AM? We got a good bit of sleet here.
  11. Frankly I am surprised with the temps in the LSV. Only one of the NWS spots got below 30 and that was MUI. LNS. MDT, THV, CXY, LNS all stayed 30 and above. With those DP's it seemed they would get into the 20's but I fear we often think too much of that and this is a case today. DP's in the mid teens and temps in the low 30's and temps only dropped 1-2 degrees during saturation.
  12. Looks showery and I would think temps are above freezing by 9-10 in colder areas. CXY already up to 33 or 34. HRRR has the middle and southern LSV getting to 45-50 today but will see if that works out over your guys way. Probably will here.
  13. 29 with a coating of sleet and a nice freeze on the trees and sidewalk. People are driving the roads so guess they are not "too bad" but have not driven myself. 81 traffic cams looks like people are moving decently. Pretty uniform low 30's in the LSV. A few 29's.
  14. I posted two wxbell maps today stolen from the MA :-)
  15. I doubt there will be over here (unless it is a sleet bomb). But that is par for the course with FRZ here, you guys are in a different world with CAD.
  16. Latest maps of Dp's. Fairly uniformed even to the south. Temps are the difference in the southwest.
  17. Freezing rain at 30 or 31 is just cold rain.
  18. Moral of the 18Z GFS. Snow wise, we better cash in that early week storm next week. Trend has been for the boundary to be a bit farther NW than a few days ago.
