    I am not as down on the Icon as others but I full heartedly agree that its typical thermal projections are rarely close to correct.

    Coastal actually moves a bit West of North for a time.

    Yep. Too far north and its a Miller rip off. But like others have said the icon is advertising wsw snows for many. Just not a euro becs.

    Icon was way north with that lead wave at 18z as well. It does not seem to be hinting at any suppression.

    I guess it was just the newness but Topps felt old despite those crazy skinny 81 Donruss. But you are right....83 Fleer Clemens, 84 Donruss Griffey....legend cards of that time frame. Edit not Griffey...Mattingly. Griffey in 89

    Felt like Topps were the out card when donuss and fleer came out in 81. Still love the 75 topps though. And the 80 scratch off hockey.

    It's getting such that the ridges and valleys come hourly in ma lr. Quite the vacuum there.

    If I remember correctly, which I may not be, the Nam had the handle on this one in showing a more Northern extent to the extreme snow. But for some of those PA areas this was on the level of the Jan 2000 surprise.

    No doubt. Under forecast is always the safe bet. But some people were convinced it would be under a foot which was too far under.

    There was indeed a fairly strong pushback from people on the forecasts...forecasts which ended up being underdone for most. I was told by one client that it never snows 30" in Virginia.

    This is spot on. Disney is being taken out to the woodshed with their star wars land not doing anything near what they expected. To counter it a bit I would be afraid to tell anyone the coast is clear right now either. I was supposed to go to the billmar earlier next week but pulled out myself. Should be some good deals for last minutes deals that locals can snag.
