  1. Let's hope so. I will be tired of hearing how the changes between warm and cold are making everyone sick. Time to just be cold.
  2. Current mid range models really suggest an unsettled, up and down week for the LSV...a soaking rain Monday, temps near 60 on Tuesday, Snow on Wed (at least falling), potential for 2-3" of rain over the rest of the week then up near 60 again Sat.
  3. I will chime in my agreement to this thought. The Canadian is the Jim Carrey "so your saying there's a chance" model. Its on par with the NOGAPS/NAV outside of a day or two range.
  4. The 12Z Euro suggests you will be getting your favored Florida weather, in PA, next weekend.
  5. My company is no where near the beach (Ocala) so it is just like going to Alabama or Mississippi. LOL. It is warm in the winter though!
  6. That is a lot of flying for you. I go to Florida about 13 or 14 times a year so I have to go but it just seems every time I go we have a storm. I am in PA for 3 weeks and the weather is serene then off to Florida and its tracking time. It would not surprise me if @Blizzard of 93 reads this and suggests I go to Florida more often so he gets more snow :-)
  7. 12Z Euro is a significant storm. Too Warm for LSV but too far out to worry about that. I am unfortunately supposed to be flying back from Florida that Saturday so as usual travelling in the winter sucks.
  8. We got coated to the tune of a bit more than 1/2". Just grass and raised surfaces of course. Actually never got below freezing.
  9. And when you say nickle and dime you mean penny and nickle with snow total maps like this from the afternoon Euro....Ha. 12Z Euro kept the snow tonight as did the Rgem, Nam dries up the stuff coming over the mountains. I know, you do not like any snow maps :-).
  10. Nam, RGEM and Euro keep advertising a coating + of snow for the LSV tonight.
  11. We go to Ft Ritchie about once a month to walk the block....good place to get away from crowds. That and Pen Mar up the road. Pen Mar had no snow today. Wrong side of the hill.
  12. Thanks. My wife actually took it on her way back over the mountain, coming form Sabillasville, MD, this afternoon. So my guess would be subjective in saying 1-2" though it really stands out due to the delineation and sticking to the trees. A similar scene was seen in Blue Ridge Summit, PA. From brown to winter wonderland as your topped the mountain.
  13. Elevation dependent accums over here today...this is the eastern side of the South Mountain chain just south of the Mason Dixon.
  14. HRRR suggests most get no snow now but I guess my thought in mentioning the NWS was they could have put in the zones something like "Local areas of briefly heavy snow possible". I agree they should not have listed accums too high.
  15. I am surprised by their zone forecast. Seems a small amount of people may get under bands and get big snow but everyone may get some decent periods of at least snow TV...and their zones make it sound like a passing shower.
  16. @CarlislePaWx will like the 0z nam's predict of 4-8" in central Cumberland County. Temps still questionable but fun to see the lollipops of extreme snow with the upper low interaction.
  17. I know but modeling is still part of the fun with the board. It should not have changed to bullseye so far west in 6 hours.
