12Z Euro drives the SLP through the middle of PA instead of under it so the results are as below. Should we throw it out because we are within 60 hours and outside the Euro's wheelhouse time? :-)
If we are I am going to have a beef with @Blizzard of 93 and his "All snow counts for the season" thought process. June 2020 snows do not count toward 19/20 winter snowfall totals! LOL.
I will say that the low position from the NAM matches up fairly well with the Icon and GFS for this hour. Just a matter of the NAM being more (probably too) snowy.
I would be pissed if my closest PA station, MDT, got enough snow to get over the total for making this the least snowiest winter ever. We are in May now and I want to keep that distinction and not have it blown on a May 3-5"" slopfest miracle.
That was why I did not post the snow map just the "hey look it might snow some in May" thought of my post...sine surface temps were really too high for accums.
I just listened to the 2PM call and Lancaster is having a community spread situation.....only 25% of their cases are nursing home. A bit of surprising info.
I do know that some schools are discussing a one week on one week off plan. One week 1/2 the kids would go the the other 1/2 would go the other week....with distance learning on the off weeks. Your scenario sounds like someone who is guessing things based on a vaccine being available and maybe totally open at that point. .
I had read the bottom graphic which said this data was up to date but you are right in that when you click on a county the numbers say for the period you mentioned. That is slightly confusing. Somewhere I read they are considering Fulton County to be opened so if Fulton opens I would expect most west to go to Yellow as well.
For those interested here is an interactive map (middle of the page) showing calculations on virus cases per 100,000. My county is surprisingly no where near 50. Franklin is actually the highest in the state until you get to Lebanon East to West. Even higher than Lancaster. And York is below 50 the last 14 days.

I was just about to post that we have had about three quarters of an inch since 8pm. Pours then relents then pours again... really comes down at times. Very tropical. Still 71. 75 in the house!
The cold air in the models might be better than the 74 and 70% humidity weather today. A big old yuck. 74 and 30% and I will take it :-). It might get to 80 today if the sun were out.
